Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you

Good to see that we're finally beginning to see how graphics from the past can really lend a lot of atmosphere to a game (Papers Please being another good example.) I hope this sets a precedent for future games so we'll focus on things aside from NEW CUTTING EDGE HD REMIX GRAPHICS
I'm convinced that almost every camera feed has some sort of alternate view (AKA. The animatronics staring at you backstage, the freddy poster changing, etc.) And that like I stated before it has a percentage chance to replace the regular environment when you open your camera feed. This can be exploited by quickly opening and closing your camera feed until something changes.
People need to experiment with this, I recently found that the Freddy/Chica/Bonnie posters in the right hallway change into creepy drawings- I'm dead set that the childrens drawings on the left hallway change.
IT'S A MIRACLE, I am not afraid of this game, I know this because I was on night 5, I edited the save to get there.
Okay so I might livestream this, not too sure. Eitherway should I go from night 1 or just leave it at Night 5?
fuckin coward m8
go from N1 you ballsack

The game works best with progression, not only to learn the intricacies of the AIs but also so [sp]muscle reflex and Freddy fuck you over that much harder by the end[/sp]
After beating the demo, I had the need to make every mouse click extremely precise for awhile.

Yep. It's not about how photorealistic the graphics are, it's about how much they serve the game and how well that synergy is executed.
Jumpscare at the end
you stop that

I hate that people just go for the highest quality image possible just because they think it'll make the product look better - this is a massive issue in film as well.
Art direction is a huge necessity.

I'm surprised how far this has spread, had a game of Space Station 13 where some cyborgs were named after the characters.
There was a lot of door banging.
HAHA, YES, I made it to night 2 without idling. I did get a scare when Bonnie just looked at the camera in the mask room, Chica didn't move to around 4AM though, is that normal?

Animatronics you are observing in camera can have alternate poses too, like Bonnie standing right in front of camera and staring or Freddy turning his head.
Nice to see this has all evolved into a game about a Tsundere chicken, a butt pirate fox, a genuine dicksucker rabbit and a murderous creepy bear
Oh damn he remade it. :v:

I've requested in one of /v/'s drawthreads "Ten Nights At Teddie's", ended up making some quick things while I wait.

I asked that they throw in the Wild Duck Burger mascot too, since he creeps me out. He can move when the game pauses.
And while I was waiting, somebody else posted this:

Aha! Is this our chance?

"animetronic"
Ow my funny bone.
So when are we getting mod support for this
I want to replace all of the animatronic screams and laughs by Fonzie's "heeeey"
Animatronics is so fucking weird and creepy. Will try out
Yeah boi, just survived Night 2, my first attempt Foxy didn't come out, or peak, but I didn't make it in time because of the power. Second attempt, Foxy peaked but never came after me. Lost power but I managed to make it to 6AM.
Anyone got tips for 3rd Night?

Use less and less of the camera on chica and bonnie?
Real advice would be having you find a new line of work.

You can see the exact moment I ran out of ideas.

I guess I could avoid monitoring Bonnie and Chica, and each time I close the tablet use the lights to see if they are there. Focus on Foxy and Freddy, but my main advice I want is for Freddy.

Isn't it that you can tell when Freddy moves because he always laughs when he does?
HAHA YEAH. Survived night 3, Foxy charged at me around 4AM, Freddy was moving about but he didn't get me. Power ran out at around 5AM, I just did the same thing and hoped the best, even at the part where Chica broke my door and light buttons.
Okay so tips for Night 4? I heard this is where it gets crazy.
[editline]18th August 2014[/editline]
I might be over my fear of Animatronics now, not too sure about it in reality.
So I made it to night 2 and my door keeps fucking up
Literally, I will go to close the door 90% in and it was fucked up, and I hadn't even been using it
What's the dealio
the dealio is that you let bonnie/chica in and therefore you're fucked
The only one you actually need to check the monitors for is Foxy, I believe. He'll run after you if you don't look at the screens at all, and since he's silent you have no way of telling if he's coming or not.
Okay Night 5, Night 4 was intense, I lost Freddy at around 4AM, and lost power at 5AM.
Just a quick question, is there a map of the game? I need to know a location, the wikia says to keep an eye on East Hall for Freddy, and I want to make sure I am looking at the right one, I assume it is the one where Foxy comes running down. But better safe than sorry.
