After watching streams and this thread for the past few days going "Ok, I think I can play this game now without being scared" I tried it Tried being the key word. Lasted about 10 minutes before I shut the game off and uninstalled it.

Unless the guard was eating at the time.[/QUOTE] have you ever petted down the fuzz on a giant stuffed animal, or a nice short-fuzzy couch cushion? patting material down changes how light bounces off it and can make the area either matte looking or bright and reflective. It wouldn't be far-fetched to assume it was an ordinary handprint on the suit. (also it's pretty big for a child's hand I'd think)

I've had to reposition my desk so my back is no longer to the door thanks to this game.

Excellent fortification and a quick escape if I'm ever not ready for freddy.

This doesn't shed much more light on any mysteries for me. I'm starting to believe it's just stock sounds that have been spookified. But I hope this entertains some of you.

Unless the guard was eating at the time.[/QUOTE] Well we also have to ask "is the exo just painted or does it have faux fur?" as if its faux fur you can leave a print behind, if its metal then I can see kids being all touchy with greasy hands (the place had poor sanitation on these guys), but also the guard was very panicky at that time when he was being attacked so I would also say sweat on his palms leaving a print that just got left there. I just more believing that its the kids touching the bot and/or someone who is there DURING THE DAY looking over the bots before they begin their day of entertaining the kids, than it being the prints of the former guard fighting off freddy.

Can someone explain what the gameplay is like? What does "survival" consist of? I didn't understand much from the videos I have seen.

Closing the doors keeps the animatronics out, but in particular he keeps closing the right-hand door because of Freddy, who is a bitch to keep out even if you're prepared for him.

To pause the animatronics from advancing on your position during normal nights, you have to find them in the camera where they'll stay in that room until you stop watching them. If the screen fades/glitches out, however, they'll move during that as well. Foxy, on most nights including the seventh, has to be repeatedly checked on or he'll rush out of the Pirate's Cove and head straight for you; not only do you only have a second to close the door on him if he does this, if he pounds on the door then you lose energy that would cost a 4/20 run. In Bigbugz' case, he basically checked Foxy and only Foxy while occasionally keeping an eye out for Freddy, and left Bonnie and Chica to be seen with lights outside the doors and shut out. Those two could be handled if one is quick and aware, Freddy and Foxy are the two that can really fuck up a run if either of them get out of control.

No shit it won't scare you, if you make idiotic noises and flail like a moron the whole time instead of letting it grab your attention for a single goddamn second. I also don't get why so many people who play the game for the first time for videos/streams yell, "WUHH, WHAT DO I DO?!!??!" over the phone guy [I]clearly telling you how things work[/I]. Open your ears, and give that nice, empty cavity in your skull some fresh air. I mean, I suppose this guy probably isn't that bad at all in most cases, and he's probably just not so good with horror games. But watching him play this so awfully and with such a shitty mindset made my blood boil from sheer annoyance.
