Does anyone have that voiceover thing for Bonnie someone made some pages back? It was pretty good but I can't find it.
I felt like I should finally pay attention to this game, given how hard the popularity exploded. What's a good gameplay video I can watch that shows it off pretty well? Videos with voiceovers would be fine, but I get a feeling that if I were to just look the game up on youtube, I'd have to wade through tons of people trying to be another pewdiepie with their scarecam and screaming and wacky reactions.

Would you like me to PM you a link?

after reading up on the areas I stopped and went "wait...what IS pirate cove anyway?" and my only answer being "it has to be where the games are of course!" so we just have to wonder what was Foxy's attraction was like.
I'm just curious where the image of Foxy being this cute sympathetic character came from, not that the little comics don't warm my wee heart and all but he seems just as murderous if not more so than his friends.

Probably have a bunch of dubloons in a chest too. Real cliche things.

Combine that with his run, which will make a player panic in gameplay but out of context it just looks silly, and people sorta stuck with the idea that he's some friendly chap that just happens to scare the life out of you by accident.

It's the fact that he had to stay in the corner of an establishment for years with nobody ever interacting with him while he sat there and rot that makes you want to have sympathy for him, and makes him want to be a bit sympathetic too, since you as the player are isolated in a room as well.

I never thought of it like that, but that raises the question why DOESN'T he just get up in your face like the other 3? That's a pretty distinct behavioral difference between him and the others.
So, everything has been extracted from the game? Nothing from the Kitchen?

Makes it less cheap jumpscare, but also less scary. Maybe Scott can fix the "less scary" by setting it so in the next one, the bots creep in slowly. Imagine Foxy's entrance, but much slower, then he says some line like "It's-s-s time to w-w-walk the plank, m-matey!" before lunging at you with his hook. Then the screen goes to static.
So, everything has been extracted from the game? Nothing from the Kitchen?
yep, its completely blank, that "camera disabled" IS THE one for the kitchen.
I'm just curious where the image of Foxy being this cute sympathetic character came from, not that the little comics don't warm my wee heart and all but he seems just as murderous if not more so than his friends.
I'd say it's a mix of what the other people mentioned and also that he taps in to the uncanny valley a lot less than the other characters. He's a lot less bulky and round, and his eyes are much less creepy and not weird rounded eyeball things, leading to him looking more personable and less whatever-the-hell the others are. There's also the fact that, well, furries are going nuts over Foxy and I'd say it's probably because foxes are a very common animal that furries go nuts over, where-as bears, rabbits, and duckchickens are less so.
Need full on death scenes from the eyes of the cup-cake.
That takes a big horror element out, because that removes a significant amount of speculation and mystery. [sp]Also, someone would slow it down and put that stupid fucking "In the Arms of an Angel" song over it.[/sp]
yep, its completely blank, that "camera disabled" IS THE one for the kitchen.
I am kind of sad that we don't get to see it. I am kind of happy that it remains a mystery.
I feel like Foxy has more to him then the others. Specifically, I don't think he was put into free roam mode by management. I mean think about it, who knows how long Foxy has been rotting in pirate cove? It seems like long enough that most of his robotics are showing. It looks like he was just flat out forgotten, and management perhaps didn't want to go through the trouble of throwing him away for some cheap money related issue. It just seems unlikely that a animatronic that was most likely scrapped would also be put into free roam mode. I feel like one of the other animatronics (Most likely Freddy.) turned him on instead of the owners.
I never did go to Chuck E. Cheese's that much, but the clearest memory I had was heading over to some arcade games to check them out, then coming back to see Chuck dancing with some kids. I tried to squeeze past the Chuckster but he ended up roughly slamming my head into the ATM next to me. Gave me a real bad headache. But at least I still have my frontal lobe.
Sorry this is a tad late, but you'd be surprised how little vision those things actually have in the eyes. You can basically see what's directly in front of you which is why Chuck is very "animated" (most suits are built with limited vision so kids can't bash the eyes out and yes, they have tried). As a result I do recall a couple instances where I've seen coworkers I've been helping walk around accidentally punt some kid in the face because he was in one of Chuck's blindspots. Literally flattened the kid, and what makes it more funny is you aren't allowed to talk so all you see is a giant smiling rat flailing its limbs in surprise at the bulldozed kid. What's really weird is the animatron's eyes. The "blinking" that Chuck does is sporadic. I'm talking Chuck will sometimes sit there wiggling back and forth waving his hands in the air talking with his eyes completely shut. Other times he won't blink until he does an animation or moves around, so sometimes he can just sit there with a thousand-yard stare on his face looking like he's pondering the mysteries of the universe. Chuck E Cheese's is weird man.

Then theres the fact foxy only comes if you look at pirate cove too much (he needs his privacy, mate) or too little (s-senpai p-p-please notice me). Freddy turning them on..eh, I'm iffy on that. Foxy already shows to be damaged, so what if even turning em off was a problem as it would just reboot itself
So I was thinking a lot about Freddy's tonight and it made me wonder what kind of creepy, dystopian world FN@F takes place in. Note that I haven't played the game unfortunately and have mostly been observing it so I don't have the full shit or anything. Ok, so it doesn't take a whole lot of thinking to find a lot of holes in the basic premise of Freddy's. Why in the fuck would you continue working there, why would nobody care about the whole dead people think, why would so on and so forth. And I found that the only explanation I can think of is that the very people that inhabit this world are themselves broken. To list off the odd behavior: First of all you have the managers, the most obvious. They really seem to have very little regard for human life, they don't care about the dead security guards and they never have, especially since they can't be held liable. They seem to care more about money than anything else. The phone guy also acts strange, he acts like what's going on isn't that big of a deal and doesn't seem to show too much concern (at first), and even when he starts to get nervous he seems to be mostly worried about things rather than freaking out. The player character took the job, does not quit, and continues to go to work each day despite the work being life threatening and only paying 4 dollars an hour. And despite the fact that there have been numerous accidents in the restaurant's past, it's still going. Sure, it's received numerous warnings and its on its last legs, but assuming this game is set in the present day, that means they've been going for decades. This is an unnatural thing even if it has gotten a bad reputation. Imagine in the real world, [sp]a bunch of kids die ay a restaurant and someone gets their frontal lobe bit off[/sp], how you think people are going to react? The restaurant would be under in a week and nobody would dare bring their children in there again. And yet enough did to keep it in business for so long. Which relays to me that the people of this world seem to be sociopathic and only have some small amount of self preservation. They don't seem to care, at least not by our normal standards, about people dying or even themselves dying.
I don't think Freddy has control over Foxy either.
He doesn't need to have control over him. Judging by how Foxy acts, he dislikes being the center of attention, yet at the same time being ignored. So judging by the bite of 87, it was probably him that caused the incident. He might panic and try to maul the closest living human when he panics. That's all Freddy needs him to do after all, so why bother trying to control him?
