Theres so many boat and underwater sounds. It's mad. There's 4 different noises for climbing onto a RHIB
Best Heist Idea Ever: You have to rob some underwater station or city. Mission starts with you coming in on a submersible, and you have to run around and steal research materials or secret technology. Then you have to escape by cracking the door to a sub bay and escape in the secret prototype sub. The police could flood certain area to try and cut you off kinda like they do with the gas in the bank heist.
Or basically that but in space. That is Bain's greatest heist ever.
I just had a silly concept and ran with it. But it would still be fun.

Just going through leftover footage.
I can only hope that Bain gets killed or something and old Dallas Hoxton and Chains take over for a single heist.
Why? Bain and Wolf are the best parts.
Even if there is less cops in this game the bots went more retarded, no joke the bots stares the cops for a while and they only react when they get shot many times, not to mention the cops always aim to me for some reason, I'm getting shot, I try to run and the bots just keep looking at me while I get downed, to make it worse I got downed once I called a bot to help me and instead he went to shoot cops. I wish Overkill made the bots smarter, count as a player like in the first game and also a way to tell them to put their masks on, because is like No Mercy all over again trying to yell all the civilians while I stole all the jewels.
False alarm. It's the Hoxton, Dallas and Chains VA's. Without putting on their accents. Its weird how distorted they are in comparison to Wolf's lines. Wolf's are in 16bit while they are in 4bit.
Came out of the sound files with nothing but boat sounds, Wolf's voice and Bain. Was hopefully trying to get the sound file of the SWAT team enemy going OHHHHH SHIIEEEETTT.
BUT I COULDN'T FIND IT D:
I think everybody and their mom knows how to do Jewelry Heist stealthily, now. It's not really a big deal, but I'm just saying this so I hope not to see a billion of the "How to..." videos on it in this thread, with everyone thinking they are special. The map is small, the mission is small, and the loot is merely meters away from the escape point, and it's all in one room.
Not difficult at all.
There appears to be a special thing you can do for it however.
If you go Mastermind class with the Inside Man asset bonus(I believe this means you have to host the game) you'll be able to steal a keycard and shut the security shutters from the inside.

Probably some sort of Green Bridge-like heist.
I'll take a look through the footage from trailers, gameplay, etc later.

Bioshock crossover.
Is it possible to take the group into your hideout?
Why? Bain and Wolf are the best parts.
If I'm correct, Wolf was the only technically surviving (not dead/in jail/retired/whatever) member of the old crew along with Bain. So there is no "old Wolf", just "current Wolf".
Is it possible to take the group into your hideout?
In the beta, I wouldn't think so. In the full game, most likely, but don't quote me on that. It really does look like in the full game, your house may be attacked.
There's lots of open areas and walking spaces on the map, and I doubt the "upgrades" to your safehouse are just appearance-wise. I may be wrong, but the map does look space-y for just going down the secret stairs and that being your safehouse.
But, to answer your question, no.
Not to mention when you go downstairs Bain says "Welcome, gentlemen."
Anyone else planning on grabbing this for the 360? Just out of curiosity.
I can only hope that Bain gets killed or something and old Dallas Hoxton and Chains take over for a single heist.
Old Dallas isn't gone. In every single video I've seen since the beta released, I've only heard old Dallas. Shit I've even heard new lines from him.
Any one know how many more missions are going to be in the full game?
Any one know how many more missions are going to be in the full game?
17, from what I've heard.
17, from what I've heard.
I've heard the same, 17 heists over 30 locations

Didn't they go back on that, though?
Then again, the issue there arises in that all of them look completely different (Chains is missing his scar too) and Hoxton isn't even British any more
[editline]28th July 2013[/editline]
Also the fact that "new" Dallas has the same VA as old Dallas
So there is 17 heists and 30 locations...
how does that make sense ? Because there is 17 heists and 30 places to go to. I am going to guess overkill will figure it out or someone or somebody.
Okay, how the hell do you get the extra bags into the helicopter at the end of rats? Just ran through it with a few friends and managed to get every last bag of cash out of the bust and to the escape circle of the helicopter, but when we escaped it said we'd only gotten four bags. That was a whole fucking lot of wasted effort.

Escape missions, multi day missions, or maybe there are more heists than we've been told about
Wouldn't it be fun to have a heist almost like Counterfeit, involving robbing someone's home, but instead have the home littered with booby traps and such? Like robbing a paranoid man who has 'something' valuable to rob.
The idea of opening a door and being greeted by a shotgun trap would be quite hilarious.
Sadly I can't think of anything making it worthwhile.

"Headhunters" style: stealing incredibly valuable pieces of artwork. The prices they'd go for could well fit into the offshore account money scaling, but there would need to be some sort of intense PMC response upon detection (followed by standard police). I think it could be really, really cool.

There's a second helicopter that you're supposed to unload the bags onto. You have to wait a bit and it will show up and then you have to throw the bags on it (and hope you don't miss and throw them into the water below).

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
Friend and I did it on Very Hard and brought like, 12 bags of fucking money. Got confused, threw it all in the circle and left. We were wondering why it was only a 72k spending reward. Fuck. Fucking fuck. :v:

I'm having this weird issue where I can play for about a minute or so and then my computer just freezes up, I get a black screen, my fans start working on full load and I can't ctrl+alt+del or anything so I have to shut off my computer by hand.
Anyone else who has this problem or knows a fix for it? Going to mail in the crashdumps later.
I've experienced a few bugs with Payday 2.
1. Steam layout does not work at all. Not even the "Invite Friends" option works. It used to, but it stopped early on.
2. Sometimes it minimizes by itself and refuses to maximize until a little bit later. The game dislikes alt-tabbing in general, and I don't know if there's a fix for it.
3. I left the game open on the titlescreen a little bit, and it crashed itself and Steam.
Other than that, there's few gameplay bugs (Sometimes a cop flies straight upward, the previously mentioned "Downed and in custody" glitch), it's doing great.
I just got the intimidation ability to nonspecial enemies, which is pretty great.
Well

this is better than stealing the money, I guess
