is this better than the payday 1, i liked it but i felt that it was a bit clunky. Also is it any good alone?
Coming over from the MGS series, the whole pagers thing is super clunky and weird to me. I hope in the future there will be a mod that disables it. It'd make things easier, yeah, but I'd rather be allowed to do a super highspeed popopop and get things done right than have to abuse the pager system (by waiting 5-10+ minutes, in some cases)

I really didn't like payday 1 that much, but this game. THIS GAME! is amazing.
I Stayed up all night with a friend playing it after I bought it yesterday, it's so good.
Is there any other bonus skill points you get like at level 10?

I was afraid someone would mistake me for one of the "pls mark gards and civs they hard to see" crowd. I don't mean to say I want the game to be easier for what it gives me, and I don't mean to say that (esp in multiplayer) the pager system isn't easy to work around. But without the pager system you could do so much more. Stealth is slow, yes, but aggressive is asking for a police wave. That hardly makes it even a strategy.
I'm just talking for a fun game with friends here not as a way to grind/farm easier. Tbh it'd be fun doing real breach and clears with 1 less thing to worry about when all we want to do is be tactical.

I played payday 1 for about an hour and a half never went back to it. I have 10 hours in payday 2 atm and plan on playing it for a very, very long time.

I wouldn't go through them atm if I were you. There's no actual pc "retail" release so...I am not entirely sure where they would get their keys for that from so, standby on that one until further notice.
It'd be nice if there was more consistency between the description of mods/weapons and the actual stat changes displayed on the bars
