It's funny because the new Chains is ex-military.
Do we know this for sure though? He doesn't speak much military lingo (unlike PD1 Chains), is supposedly the same age as PD1 Chains, and has exactly the same bio as PD1 Chains. STC probably, but it would be cool if the new Chains was still ex-military because he's awesome (and sounds cooler than PD1 Chains to boot)
CENTER MASS! CENTER MASS FOR FUCK'S SAKE!
A-O IS A SHITSTORM
I tried to make the bank into Monaco : You can check it out on my workshop. Guaranteed without bulldozers.
I finally get into a heist with someone who knows what the fuck he is doing. He used mic, communicated with everyone, had plans that didn't constantly get the entire team killed, and knew when to tell you to just leave him dying on the ground. We almost entirely stealthed the bank on overkill, and then we get to rats. Suddenly I get a pretty annoying bug - I can't throw bags. I bagged one of the cooks and threw him out the window, then bagged another cook and just couldn't get rid of the bag. I mashed the key like 20 times and even tried rebinding it to another key and doing it again. I alt-tabbed out and then lost connection, but my friend other friend was still in there so I joined again. Got flash-banged immediately upon joining, and then there was no noise beside assault music, even though there was no assault and there was still tons of gunfire. I swear this game is hellbent on glitching out the moment you find decent teammates.

The new characters behind the masks are just that, entirely different people, except Wolf.

And I just got kicked for the first time. The host decided to keep all the cash and payday for himself, RIGHT at the end of Watchdogs Day 2 on Overkill...
is the semi auto shotty any good?
If you mean the Locomotive, then yes, a thousand times yes. The Shark Teeth flash suppressor is sort of a must though, since it makes the damage almost on par with the Bronco.
What's about IZHMA?
It's funny because the new Chains is ex-military.
Wasn't old Chains ex-military too? Anyways I still haven't pre-ordered because I'm a few bob short at the moment so can anyone tell me if Ghost is useful outside of stealth, like in missions with no stealth option? Also, how useful are the other classes in stealth? I like stealth.
There's so many bugs with this game, it's ridiculous.
This whole searching on crime net thing is sort of annoying I've been sitting on the screen waiting for a heist that never pops up. I want to go do overkill jewelry store but the best i can get to pop up is very hard jewelry store, Been waiting almost 15 minutes and it still hasn't popped up. Really wish we could just select what heist we want to do and their difficulty level without having to go through this. Maybe the games trying to stop me from solo grinding jewelry store or something.

A couple of tiers and abilities give you a chance to dodge incoming shots, which basically just means they miss, which can really help with survival. The lockpicking skill is likely to be really beneficial for quickly getting in to safes and through heavier locked doors that could take some time. The ECM jammer can eventually be upgraded to where it can be used to bypass keycard locks and even stun enemies near by. Mastermind is actually pretty necessary for stealth as well. You need someone who can keep a crowd absolutely locked down, and who can handle guards by making them surrender and use pagers more.

Though, I do highly agree that it's beyond annoying, considering there's only 5 missions, and it's a beta.

It changes up the list occasionally, but its much quicker to just force it that way.
After reading this thread the past couple days I'm really excited for Payday 2. I just don't have $50 to drop to play the beta right now. Would anyone here have an extra Beta Pass they'd give me so I can play with you guys?

Well, it's about that time again, and I feel like doing a good deed. I have a beta invite in my inventory. I'll raffle it off, since I don't really have anyone to give it to. I guess the first 10 people to friendly this post will be included in the raffle. I don't mind if you enter while already having the game, you must have your reasons. :P edit: decided to tone it down to 10 entries since i don't seem to be getting a lot ;-;
Anyways I still haven't pre-ordered because I'm a few bob short at the moment so can anyone tell me if Ghost is useful outside of stealth, like in missions with no stealth option? Also, how useful are the other classes in stealth? I like stealth.
Ghost is sort of a mixed bag outside of stealth since some of his higher tier game-changers can't be accessed as of now (strafing while sprinting, silent safe cracking, ECM feedback (a shockwave that basically has a chance to incapacitate enemies within a certain radius. Although, things like better sprinting, dealing more damage to specials, and gaining the ability absorb more damage before going into custody is pretty useful. So as of now, Ghost is best paired alongside something like either Mastermind, or Technician. Mastermind fairs quite well in stealth, with being able to shout down guards and a better intimidation, a tier 1 skill that if you ace gives you 10 cable ties, more convincing pager responses, etc. Technician is handy aswell, being able to fix the drill faster, silent drilling, a faster drill makes him pretty good for drill managing. Enforcer best shines in missions like Watch Dogs or Rats, though his tier 1 skill of being able to throw and move faster with carrying bags makes him a good "packmule", so to say.. tl;dr ghost is best paired with mastermind or technician atm
You guys think we'll be getting more heists till the release?
You guys think we'll be getting more heists till the release?
I feel like they might make a new heist available every 2nd beta update, but I feel like 3-4~ more heists before the game is fully released
There's so many bugs with this game, it's ridiculous.
Hence the beta.
i hope they dont add too many more heists i wanna still make sure i can enjoy new unseen heists once the game is out

Yo Hox/Wolf/Dallas, on my six. Are the ones that come to mind. I'm pretty sure he has a couple others though. If you go into inventory to select your character, it still has ex-military in his background. Hox's changed though.
