So I finally got the saw, more disappointed than I thought I'd be. Took awhile to figure out how to use it on doors, since you have to find the sweet spot first, some doors are different, and some are still difficult (like double doors). Burns through blades like fuck too, so if you're off the target, you have no time to correct until you've burnt through half the blade. Aside from that, you only get 2 blades, or a combined 3 seconds of spin time. Restocking blades takes a huge hit from the ammo bag too. All the while replacing your primary weapon with a tool, leaving you with only a secondary for combat. On higher difficulties, this is not exactly desirable.

Color is Blue Chrome btw, and it's not infamous.
They need to buff the saw, for the price and time it takes to get one they're a pretty shit option
Isn't the carbon saw suppose to triple the lifetime or something?
I'd assume missions would be little to no challenge if a new person joined a game with a level 30 (provided 30 is the level cap for the rest of the beta) that is decked out and ended up flying through it because the 30(s) completed every objective without much effort.
Hmmm yeah I see what you mean. [editline]Edit:[/editline] Recentley got the Hockey Mask. I'm assuming it's a reference to Heat, and I'm really ok with that. That movie's the shit.
Apparently I am an overconfident twat for expecting that me and a team of level 20s get more than the minimum amount of cocaine required on the second day of watchdogs on hard.
Apparently I am an overconfident twat for expecting that me and a team of level 20s get more than the minimum amount of cocaine required on the second day of watchdogs on hard.
how the getting all of the bags is EASY as long as your team knows to bring them everywhere they go, not to mention it's not that hard to stay cooped up inside that shipping container to the side or in the warehouse, especially on hard man.
Has anybody else over rep 25 been getting nothing but weapon mods from drops recently? I haven't had a single mask or cash card in fucking forever. Starting to get paranoid.
Has anybody else over rep 25 been getting nothing but weapon mods from drops recently? I haven't had a single mask or cash card in fucking forever. Starting to get paranoid.
90% of my drops since last reset have been weapon mods or instant cash bonuses. Masks items for me are quite rare.
I've gotten the Clean Rock material 3 times lol
I got 2 mask drops yesterday the vampire and the spout or pout. I also with 3 random people did rats on overkill and in the meth lab got 4 bags and stole the intel and bags than on the bridge we got all but one bag. That was worth the cash. will post a screenshot in a week or 2. [editline]3rd August 2013[/editline] Also does anyone fear they will make masks with the event or unlockable in payday ? Because I am not sure how it will work. Hopefully they add a or the obama mask again and such from payday the heist in which I don't own.
They need to buff the saw, for the price and time it takes to get one they're a pretty shit option
I agree, it is pretty shit for the amount of cash I put into getting it. Not to mention aiming it isn't exactly precise, wasting some of its durability.
They should make it a gadget and then change it to act like picklocking where the player interacts with the spot to saw it open.
so basically just give the enforcer a tool that can open pretty much everything lockpicking and drills can? why the fuck would anybody pick anything that isn't enforcer if that was the case
True that, but it is also a common quote for the Marines. "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for I am the baddest motherfucker in the god damn valley. I am a United States Marine."
It is not a common quote in the Marines, it was just a quote from the movie Jarhead.
It is not a common quote in the Marines, it was just a quote from the movie Jarhead.
Really? Huh.
Really wish they'd fix this shotgun shit, it's frustrating as fuck to not be able to shoot for 3 seconds after you reload
so basically just give the enforcer a tool that can open pretty much everything lockpicking and drills can? why the fuck would anybody pick anything that isn't enforcer if that was the case
You're misunderstanding. Having a saw equipped and currently selected would make things that require a saw to open, like ATMs, have an interaction like lockpicking/setting up a drill does.
Its fucking idiotic they're gonna reset the profiles when the game releases. I'm going to lose all my shit I unlocked. God damnit.
it is a beta you clown. [editline]3rd August 2013[/editline] Also, add me on Steam. Looking for people to do Watch Dogs/Rats with on VH/OK to farm cash.
What is everybody's opinion of FBI Heavy SWAT? Me and my friend were talking and we feel that they get spammed too much and that their shock value is severely reduced by how common they are on even 'Very Hard' heists. They seem like more of an annoyance rather than a scary enemy (even moreso to my non-enforcer teammates, who can't even punch them down when they get in a pickle). Personally, I think they should be rarer (Heavily supplementing SWAT instead of replacing it, say 30% of the team at most) and made to act more like Bulldozers. That is to say, they will move slower and be unable to do acrobatics, but will not flinch or fall from gunfire. I feel like that would make them feel more unique and give back the 'terror' value they once had. They'll jog instead of run, and run instead of sprint. They won't be able to climb buildings, but may still drop down on you and maybe rope-dive (is there a word for this?) through windows. Opinions on that?

They require you to change up your playstyle while versing them instead of just spamming them down with an AR like you do every other enemy. Though I do kind of agree, it'd be nice if they acted more like a squad and less like a zerg rush
For some reason nobody joins my game when i open a lobby. Do i have to forward ports or something? Then what do i have to do?
Has anybody else over rep 25 been getting nothing but weapon mods from drops recently? I haven't had a single mask or cash card in fucking forever. Starting to get paranoid.
Well, yesterday evening, I've joined some couple of friends I met in PD2 (in pub game). One of them was Sunny. During like 2,5 hours he received 3 mask drops, on top of his ~5. (We are all 30 lvls and been going on the same level all the time from what I could see). But he also had bad luck and got cash cards 6 times in row, I'm not joking, I was dying due to my laughing.
I know what mask I'm gonna hunt down once PAYDAY 2 is done: Hoxton Begins + Chrome Blue + Golden Lilly + Solid White: You will be mine again...

And the heavy FBI's are bullshit. they take way to much fucking damage, and to my knowledge, there is no armor on the planet that deflects every single bullet thrown at the wearer like nothing.

They take so much damage to be put down and in the 1st rats mission same thing but more annoying. They throw these guys alot much more in overkill for a challange but it's annoying.
