Just like the Matrix, woah.
Mr. Andersson you can't escape from us, the payday makes us stronger.
So you just had like Attack of the Clones, an army shooting down cops for you?
This is oddly the only game where I hip-fire more than I use sights. Even without my laser it just feels a lot more natural, and even more weird is the fact it's the one damn game without a reticule.

It feels natural as hell.
"I see the CFO...oh, he can't dance."
I can only imagine the whole crew, staring in disbelief as the CFO busts a move
Does this game become repetitive after beating all the heists? Im thinking about getting a 4 pack but worried the game will get boring quick
How long does the beta last?
How long does the beta last?
Until release.
It honestly feels like hip-firing gives more damage. I've aimed in using a shotgun on one of the SWAT Team's heads, and it took 2 or 3 shots to actually kill them, but if I don't aim in, and shoot them in the head, they die instantly almost all the time.
Someone just sent me this on steam.
>case into Jewelry Store >ask for everyone to eat that dirt >"What?" >cable ties slowly drip from my pockets >oh fuck not again >face gets red >"Please give me the jewels right now." >"I don't know who you are sir. I think you should leave." >put on mask to hide my embarrassment >clenching asscheeks together to hold in my shit >voice reduced to a mumble >"have gun please gem bags give money please game" >"Are you okay?" >shit breaches through my asscheeks >propelled forward at 60mph >crash through the display cases through a guard >he's holding onto me for dear life >all the while cable ties are flowing out of my pockets like fumes >crash through the entire row of buildings in downtown, broken glass shards in my face >yelling "BIG MONEY PLEASE MONEY JEWELRY STORE HEIST" >Guard employee is covered in ammo bags and cable ties >my pocket rocket shows no signs of stopping >he tilts me backwards >the sheer force of my shit has reached 650mph, we are now propelling upwards >the cable ties and shit intertwine and fall down to earth in glorious black and red streams as we head towards the stratosphere >civilians tied down in the mess falling from my anus >the g-force is causing my asscheeks to flap vigorously and create a gale >ammo and shit blowing through the air on the planet below >3 miles upwards now >store guard has died from lack of oxygen, his body falls to the surface below and is shredded by the force of my shit >my transformation is almost complete >as I leave the atmosphere my mask gets electric center and lime green/magenta pattern >my progress is reset As usual Vlad went light on the information
What's the deal with electric center anyway? Haven't played the beta but I'm probably going to get the Career Criminal upgrade soon.
What's the deal with electric center anyway? They fixed it now however.
There used to be a bug where level 25 players would commonly get a pattern called Electric Center dropped in the card thing. "electric center" "oh"
I have the two most badass patterns; Eastern Sunrise and Ozymandias, but I have no mask to use them on but the vagina mask. Goddamn it.
I spent an hour on rats overkill. Busted my ass. What do I get from the cards? [sp]13,500 dollars.[/sp]
I hate how you can only customize a mask once and how you practically wasted money if you ever decide you don't want an attachment anymore, seriously once I've paid for it I should just have it in my inventory WITHOUT having to pay for it again would I ever want it back on my gun. Besides always finding something to moan about, I did have some great games yesterday and today with pubs which was nice for a change.
Money is super easy to gain. One OVK Watchdogs grants you 500k of cash... That's more than enough to install 2 most expensive attachments on your gun. If there wasn't any money sink in the game, you would shit with your money and probably build a skyscraper entirely out of money... Seriously, 1 hour is enough to get 1.000.000$ of spending cash without even trying. I'm worried how easy it will be with more complicated heists with more days... Right now, doing 2 Rats on OVK in row will set you for good.
Question, does anybody know if the Gangsters will fight on your side when the Police raid the apartments in Day 2 of Rats? We played it the other day, we had just put all the meth in the truck, then suddenly police sirens and a loudspeaker announcing the sudden arrival of the WPD. All the gangsters drew weapons, but none of them fired until 3 seconds later when one of our crewmembers panic-fired on them. It made me wonder if they actually stay neutral and / or fight the police. So does anybody know?

If it works, though, that's a pretty nifty find.
Speaking of, that'd be a neat Mastermind perk, hire a few thugs to stand around the bank / jewelry store / wherever. That way when the cops show up, you have some disposable guns to help slow down the cops. Literally all we did was take the meth us as usual, put it in the truck, and wham, suddenly Police arrive. I noticed the gangsters had their guns, but I didn't fire because they didn't. But one of our teammates (afraid of their SMG's, because they hurt) pre-emptively started shooting, and I never got to see how the rest of it would play out.

Acing it makes the converted cops even more powerfull.
I fucking love it when you hear this track at the nightclub.
I want to play this so badly, but I don't even have money on it because we are moving to another country in 2 weeks. My last two weeks of freedom in terms of playing games. :v:
I want to play this so badly, but I don't even have money on it because we are moving to another country in 2 weeks. My last two weeks of freedom in terms of playing games. :v:
It's been delayed to the 23rd, so you have a bit more time.
It's been delayed to the 23rd, so you have a bit more time.
Why does everyone think it's delayed? They said August 13 as in August 2013. It was a misreading.
there already is a perk which allows you to convert surrendered cops to your side. Acing it makes the converted cops even more powerfull.
Yeah I know that, but it just seemed to be kind of a "mastermind" type of thing. Bain doesn't care for gangsters, he sees them as vicious thugs and doesn't want anything to do with them. But as the mastermind, you see beyond that, you see disposable guns that could help waste the cops time (and maybe a couple cops, if only because those SMG's hurt). So you go behind Bain's back and hire a couple gangsters 'off the record' to just stand outside a certain area, maybe with the BS promise that they'll get a big payday once the robbery is complete. Like Vlad, you go light on the info, leaving out everything about cops and such, and the obvious fact that you don't intend for them to survive long enough for a Payday, let alone leave room for 'em in your van. In-game wise, it'll just be 3-5 of those gangsters from Rats, set to be allied with you. They'll go active when you go loud, and try to help with holding off the cops (and maybe curse you out for tricking them, though they won't dare attack their only ally in a sea of SWAT). Also, they won't take up your 'conversion point', so you can still convert a cop during the heist. Mastermind is all about planning, control, and manipulation. It just seems really fitting and actually useful to me.
It's been delayed to the 23rd, so you have a bit more time.
Even worse - I probably won't be able to play it then(in case I will get beta somehow). oh fuck me. I mean, I won't be able to play the released game, which is after the date I leave.
Why does everyone think it's delayed? They said August 13 as in August 2013. It was a misreading.
Like half the websites selling the game say the 13th and have been doing so for ages. Hell, the steam store page even used to say the 13th.
