Like, with the line "it's muriatic acid, for sure!" I added muriatic and it exploded. Everyone else heard hydrogren.
For the lines you're thinking of, "It's caustic soda... no wait, muria! Hold on, it's caustic, definitely." I added caustic just like he said, and it exploded.
I did a test and he lies for a good three or so lines to a specific person sometimes before going back to the correct ingredient.
I hope there is some sort of opera mask, sorta emotionless, so I can make a Shadow from Persona mask... or No Face's mask.

Yeah, the selection of Masks and materials seems really, really small, for how major the system of unlocking new parts is in finishing a mission.

I messed around with it for a bit and couldn't get it to work. Not sure what I was doing wrong.
Basically I added the material, then I added the pattern, which only reverted it to the base mask (no pattern, no material), so I removed the pattern (material came back), re-added the pattern (mask default'd again), added the colour (no effect), removed the pattern and colour (material came back), and added colour (no material, no colour). So then I just said screw it and went with just material.
What did I do wrong?

I'm not sure then, it just didn't work for me when I tried it. If I tried to add anything but the material, it would remove the material and display just the base mask.
Oh, also, I couldn't get it to display patterns without a material either. Adding a pattern just did nothing.
Maybe it was bugged for me, in which case hopefully they're aware of the issue and it gets fixed.
I am gonna miss my rainbow mask quite a bit though, pattern or not..

Every time I've run in to them, they've been colossal jackasses. And before the most recent update, every single one of them that I saw had modded because they were always running around with the Combined Tactical Vest and Improved Combined Tactical Vest, and many had things like shaped charges and other high-level gear they shouldn't have been able to access.
