I've been really lucky with the pubs i've hit even as a level 1. I got into a group that was smash grabbing jewelry store and overkilling four stores and I hit level 30 in no time. Other matches i've gotten into very hard and overkill, and in my 6 hours of playing the beta I haven't had anyone yell at me for fucking up or anything.
Also, you can smash grab jewelry store on normal in less than 40 seconds with a semi competent crew. It's great for card farming.
Earlier Bain told us Acid twice in a row, the second time confidently. Added Acid. Lab exploded.
I guess 100% isn't always 100%?
the only thing that makes me want to quit playing pubs for the night is when either a. they have no situational awareness and get downed trying to restart a drill in a fucking swat ocean
or b. they keep trying to do the same action as me after i started it
I don't fault people for doing the same actions at once because, if you're not looking over their head, you don't know what they're doing. Now if they start it after someone else already has been working on it, then its just stupidity. But most of the time its things like trying to revive teammates or restart a drill and they both hit it at the same time and don't realize the other person is doing it too.
I've made it a personal rule not to play with T$E guys. Every time I've run in to them, they've been colossal jackasses. And before the most recent update, every single one of them that I saw had modded because they were always running around with the Combined Tactical Vest and Improved Combined Tactical Vest, and many had things like shaped charges and other high-level gear they shouldn't have been able to access.
I feel as if the T$E guys think they have some sort of high class privilege because of two or so of their members being involved with the Overdrill ARG
Elitests are the worst. What's your gear score? LOL NO you can't come with us. How am I supposed to get that gear score then, that gear's in that dungeon? FIND FRIENDS. Basically, Become an Elitest, or an Exile, you pick. I Don't know why they play like it matters. Money doesn't mean anything, there's nothing to spend it on after you hit 30 and get your skills, and what you unlock won't stay with you, either. Besides the fastest way to card farm is NOT Rats. So what the shit, do they not know how to just lay back and have a bit of fun? It isn't a REAL heist, you know
Which is why I basically refuse to interact with the communities of MMOs whatsoever. In general, I can't stand the communities for most online games, especially if there is any kind of professional or competitive scene. It just turns it in to a festering pool of self-righteous shitlords who only care about looking like the best thing that has ever happened to gaming, and they want to make sure everyone around them knows it. And if you aren't on par with what they consider good or don't do things their way, then they'll spend every possible moment trying to belittle you.
Who is T$E?
I've only met one member and he kicked anyone who tried to help cook the meth on Rats and got super fucking anal when I placed both ammo bags at the same time saying "WE DONT NEED THAT YET" on the same Rats game
basically the
"super pro mlg" payday krew
their claim to fame is helping solve overdrill
Who is T$E?

From what I understand they're a clan or something that is pretty much obsessively dedicated to Payday. A few of their guys were part of the Overdrill thing in the first game and that gave them a gigantic ego boost.

You should have said "So don't use them until you're ready genius" How did they ever solve anything if they couldn't figure that one out
Was playing with one, he gave me shit for cooking meth, he promptly fucked up the meth and blew us all up, blamed it on me and kicked me from the game lol.
You should have said "So don't use them until you're ready genius" How did they ever solve anything if they couldn't figure that one out
Maybe he has some kind of compulsion where he has to use ammo bags after every reload. It also compels him to be a dickhead.
Also, I've seen some of the creepiest Steam names pop up from watching the Crime.net screen. Like I just saw someone with the name "CumFilledFrog". I've seen a lot of weird and creepy names thanks to this screen.
I think T$E was secretly created with the explicit purpose of gathering up all the jackasses in to one single group and branding them so the rest of the playerbase knew immediately to avoid them.
And now I'm in a lobby with someone using the tag "T$C". Who are they? Thats a new one.
Whoever he is, his brilliant plan for stealthing the Jewelry store was to run in to the alley, get spotted immediately by a guard, get shot three times, then gun the guard down while the rest of us frantically run around the store and streets suppressing the civies.

I don't know what the T$C thing is, I got invite to it today though. I also play with the Team Evil (T$E) on their stream a lot. They're really chill, you guys must get like random people that join the group and throw the tag on.

Could also be that because they know you by now and must figure you're competent, they don't treat you like dirt.
You know, like every other in-game kinship.
Anyone can put the =T$E= tag in their name. All the serious ones are in the Tag Team group, where you have to actually be good at the game, and the admins review you to see if you have good sportsmanship and not ragequit, etc...
Not open to the public, and there's only a small amount of members due to having to go through a review. Those are the members you want to play with.
Like I said, anyone can put it in their name. The tag abuse isn't being taken seriously by the owners of the groups/admins because it's just a beta. When PayDay 1 was the only game around, before the beta, they took that shit beyond seriously.
When does the game come out?
Steam says Aug 27 but some guy I played with today said its come out on the 13th?

August 27 is the release date of the game, it was moved some days ago.

If you're seriously doubting the distribution system's set date because of some guy you played with, you're silly.
It was never the 13th. They never gave a set release date until they said the 27th. People thought they said the 13th and now they'd rather defend to the death that it was actually a delay than just say that they were mistaken and that it was just saying August of this year.
I'm all for strategy, and seriousness, but don't fucking treat pubbies like shit you assholes. Seriously, the 'pro' players in this game are actively making it worse, especially those who allegedly convinced them to add more cops, turning it into a semi-grindfest.
Again.
I don't kick people because of their low Level, but because they fuck up my Jobs. I have seen some lvl 1's being better at stealth runs than some level 30 guys.
Just upgraded to Criminal Career Edition
How do you upgrade? There's no option for me :(
It's on the store page, for twenty bucks, bottom option.
Overkill should make like Crime.Net store where you can buy weapons mods, masks and stuff for mask so we don't have to pray the card to give us something good to finally use it.
I mean, instead of get the a random item and then pay, it should be pay and then unlock or get it in a card for free. The infamous items of course being card only.
I want to edit my weapons but all I get is money, things for masks and mods of weapons I don't use. I guess I'm not in luck.

"So a hippy drinking a Trayvon Martini during WWI walks into a bank..."
[sp]tells everyone to get the fuck down and steals millions[/sp]
Honest question:
How is this game compared to the first Payday?
