The mask customization bit at the end, oh my god.
In that video each player put on their mask at different times, I just wish there was a way so like one person triggers the heist then another pretends he's a civilian then can sneak through during the panic.

Ever wanted that extra challenge when you don't know how much HP or ammo you and your crew has? In PAYDAY 2, you can switch off the HUD to make it smooth. S-m-o-o-t-h. OBJECTIVE REMINDER MESSAGE Tired of hearing the same thing over and over? Turn that shit off and show everyone that you don't need no reminders to get the job done. HIT CONFIRM INDICATOR Don't like hit indicators? We ain't gonna force it on you. Personally, I like it.
My dick has left orbit.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7dNyYBV.jpg[/t]
I also noticed they don't have the crosshair anymore. I always wanted an option to remove that ugly thing.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7dNyYBV.jpg[/t]
Perfect, I always thought those damn hitmarkers looked ugly in a game.
Perfect, I always thought those damn hitmarkers looked ugly in a game.
I like having hitmarkers, so then I know i've actually connecting with shots or if i'm lagging/being a terrible shot.
Same heist, but everything is so different. Sorry for shitty cam quality.
Oh man I hope Payday 2 is at SDCC.

So the loot can vary then, the other video was the same heist, but the loot was gold ingots
Looks better than I was expecting, loving the crafting system. I also loved that they upped the recoil on the guns, earlier footage had barely any.
That customization. Holy fuck. Holy flipping fuck I'm so ready. I love games with lots of customization (Armored Core), even if they suck (Brink), so I really can't wait to spend fucking hours making guns, masks and armor. I also freeze-framed on the armor page. Looks like your armor has three factors: Protection, Mobility and Concealment. Obviously with Protection going up, mobility and concealment go down. Looks like you can get almost as armored as a bulldozer with the right leveling/loot.
It appears they've changed the characters to match their live action counterparts. It won't be the same, damn it.
Or maybe Hoxtolicous just got a new hair-do.

Currently waiting for the guy trading cce for tf2 keys to accept my friend request. After that I'll have it!
Oh, yay they are keeping the special units!
Those video just makes me want to have the game right now, Overkill should release like a sneak peek demo, with only a heist with the base loadout and some other stuff. Also, about the length of the heists I hope they aren't long as the first game but not short as the bank being showed. To be honest Payday 1 heist weren't "long" is just the never ending waves of cops and the fights makes you stay in the same place for 15 minutes just to complete one objective.

oh goddddddddddd that mask customization.
This is making Payday: The Heist look like a proof of concept.
Is it me or do Special Units look like they're used differently now? Instead of showing up randomly, it seems like they all attack at once. I didn't notice any in the first video. In the end of the Second Video though, they were suddenly attacked by a few Tasers and a couple Shields.
I never expected Payday 2 to be so huge.

I wonder what advantages FBI SWAT have over the regular guys, if any. [editline]13th June 2013[/editline] I do like that it looks like that the SWAT are overall tougher but less common. Health seems to be around Heavy SWAT on Overkill, for your average SWAT guy.
ughhh i want to play this game so fucking bad now. COME ON CALENDAR MOVE FASTER. fuck!
Is it actually possible to rob a bank in post-9/11 America without being turned to dust before you even got a chance to glance at a vault? The thought appeared in my head after countless of hours playing First World Bank over the months, so I've read up on banks a little. Practical bank security is absolutely jaw-dropping, and bank robbers are often just people walking into the bank, leaving a threatening note to the teller and walking out with a small sum of money without anyone inside the bank being any wiser. Not to mention that modern vaults and safes are also reinforced to the point that the amount of explosives needed to blow them open would likely create unwanted attention and run the risk of harming the building to the point of collapse. Stuff like being unable to open the vault from inside the bank itself and instead you'd need access to a control panel which operates the vault doors miles away from the bank itself with a code that changes daily, extensive biometric technology which makes non-violent methods of gaining access, even by the most experienced safe hackers and code crackers, nearly impossible, etc all make modern bank robbery a really, really shitty career.
