Elitism in cooperative games is always retarded, imo.
I've had enjoyable pub experiences because the worst thing that happens is you lose a heist. Wah. Try again or find another group.
Personally, it's best with 1-2 friends and 1-2 pubs, imo. The friends know how to work with you in and out, and the pubs spice it up with that random factor. Sometimes you get a great guy, sometimes you get the lucky nut case who seems unable to die, and sometimes you get fumbles - the lovable rank 3 trying to play with the big boys on Overkill difficulty.
Until the reward for Stealth is something more than "it's a tiny bit faster" and "yey u did stealth clap clap;" I really don't give a shit for it. If there was a massive pay bonus, maybe. But there's not. And there's no reason to load-out for a stealth bank run and take 5-15 minutes for any slight sneeze to fuck it up - when we can plow in not giving a fuck and come out in [B]the same amount of time[/B] with the same amount of money.
I'll leave all the speed-stealth 2pro 360-cabletie to the try hards. I'm there to enjoy the game. :v:

To be entirely fair, the only way people learn is to show them how to do it, ask that they follow and not lead and just take note of your processes.
I found it hard to learn how to stealth the jewelry store, harder even to do the bank quietly. Only way I learned was pooling together ideas and the efforts of others. I'm not saying you can't stick to your group cause that's fine, and pubbies can be dumb for sure, but you started the same way. You have a longer way to fall than we do on that high horse of yours.

To be honest, I should be more clear on what I said, since it's been mis-interpreted a couple of times.
These people (the ones that I played with) do not know because they refuse to learn. Teaching them stealth on Four Stores was not possible for me because they most of them said "nope, u cant stealth this map noob, too many stores lol", and others said "bank heist is impossible dude, stfu u didnt solo it". Some claim that Jewelry Store is the only map you can stealth, and others say it's not worth it to stealth anything but the Jewelry Store.
I've also ran into people where I suggested to stealth other maps with because I was in the mood to stealth something other than Jewelry. They refused, I called them out on it, and that's when they said that they know stealth inside-and-out on the game because they've "done jewelry like hundred times before with all bags", hence why I said that they think they are stealth gods. I didn't mean to imply that if they didn't spend "hundreds of hours" on the game, that they weren't good. I'm simply saying that most of the people I've played with are full of themselves. Rate me dumb if you'd like, I can actually explain myself instead of assuming things like an idiot :v:

Gonna play for fun, definitely. Might grind when the opportunity presents itself like an overkill Jewelry Store when I have my cable ties, or whatever. Other than that, it's pure fun and easy going for me.

Did rats on Very Hard. Got the meth all cooked up nicely and only fucked up with the C4 on the bus. That mission is intense as fuck.

They helped solve the Overkill puzzle and the leaders are basically pampered by Overkill.
