I really don't mind broken hitboxes on legs, as I never tend to aim at them, unless it's the only part of the target you can aim at due to them being in cover.... at that never happened in PD2.
What I really don't like is 10 meters of steel that Heavy FBI wears on their chests.
That's where lack of working hitboxes on legs comes into play... I guess there should be weakpoints on their legs too, but can't be used because of this.
The thing I didn't like about PayDay 1 that I was hoping would be fixed more in this game is that it is definitely too much of a horde/L4D/Killing Floor type game. That's fine, except I don't think that fits in with a heist game. It should be much more about stealth. I'm really damn glad there's some stealth in PayDay 2, but some of the police hordes that come after you are just absolutely ridiculous.
They could really work the pacing a lot better

Yeah, I feel that they should be tough, but not bullets ricocheting off. As is now you have to shoot very specific spots, where I'd rather it just be that they're tough enough that you might need to focus fire a little to drop one. Especially when entire waves are made up of them. It's definitely doable as is now, but it can feel a bit luck based which can be frustrating.
also the police response should be different depending on how they were 'summoned'
an alarm at a store could be a number of things but someone calling the police and saying armed robbers are drilling the vault is kinda something I imagine they wouldn't even bother sending regular police for
edit: also I'm okay with the guys that have protected fronts as long as they make them less bullet spongey
I mean seriously, even if you shoot them where you can damage them they still have a lot of hp
I still think they should just animate those guys like Bulldozers instead, so you have a slower, but clearer target, and it doesn't stumble or dive around.
FBI Heavy are just annoying and unfun. Only way to one-shot them is to hit them in the head at close range with the shotgun, which is only a one-hit kill about 60% of the time. I'm an Enforcer though so lucky me, if they survive I can just punch 'em out.

Shotgun Enforcer at close-range is pretty much the hard-counter to FBI Heavy SWAT.
They're just annoying to anyone else though. I saw keep the health, keep the invincible front plate, assign them Bulldozer animations (and AI?), and have them supplement the FBI SWAT instead of replace it.
Anyone want to play the beta with me? I only have one other friend who plays it regularly. Hit me up on Steam.
Update #4
General GUI tweaks has been made, the PAYDAY cards now have higher resolution

During a PAYDAY, only weapon mods for weapons that you have unlocked can be dropped
You can now toggle if you want AI or not in the Planning Phase
Shotgun reload animations have been updated
Balanced the control phase - the more hostages you have the longer the law enforcers wait before they initiate
Fixed a bug where the "new drop" icon would not disappear in the main menu
Yeah, bullet sponge regular enemies aren't fun.
Speaking of leg hitboxes, it would be quite nice of they actually worked as they would be a big help against shields.
And speaking of shields, am I the only one hoping the GL40 returns to the game on release or as DLC?
I feel the web series would be better without a constant soundtrack; or one completely from the game. Detracts a bit.
also what the hell is Overkill in universe? I am so confused.
Just did Watchdogs on overkill. Fuck the enemies that are pretty much invincible other than their heads.

The people behind Crime.net?
I want a Russian weapons pack, VSS Val/Vintorez, an Obrez as a secondary weapon, a Dragonov SVU, it'd be awesome.
I just got the beta, anyone willing to play?

I suppose its possible it may be added in the future as part of DLC with a level cap increase. It'd be kinda cool to see each tree get a special weapon tailored to their style eventually. Don't know exactly what a Ghost or Mastermind would get.

They need to add a Makarov (with a 6p9 barrel mod) and Russian scopes (PSO-1, Kobra, etc)

Good idea, but I doubt they'll nerf them unfortunately. For every reasonable arguement for it you'll see a bunch from the heistmaster pros who want the game to be as difficult as possible because they're stealthing everything on overkill.

Me and Paraprose are doing watchdogs, need 2 more, come join us! Send me a friend invite

Yeah, I'd totally pay for a DLC pack that was all Warsaw Pact style guns. They could do the same for more tacticool ones too :v:

well, in their defense
the whole story line is that they've been robbing everything in the DC area
so cops sending a shit ton of armed SWAT to a jewelery store with the alarm going off means they assume it's the same guys
Link was broken to my profile, try again

Send me a friend request on steam if you want to do Watchdogs with me and Paraprose
yeah, i agree above: russian weapons need to have more of a place here, or generally more guns in general. The level cap is 100, right? Or something like that? But yet you have all of the weapons unlocked by the time you're about 30-something so in other words every gun in the game is unlocked within a few hours' playtime. That leaves so much to be desired once the full game comes out. I can understand why they'd want DLCs and stuff but if they make a quick cash-in by adding arsenal DLCs I'm going to be livid
Well, Bank on Overkill is a bitch. We're gonna continue if we get more people, shoot me a Steam friend request if you wanna play.
converting swat is the best skill
just seeing him run around and kill his bretheren unwillingly brings a tear to my eye
:')
I hope we get a LMG like the Brenner 21 at some future point.
Assault rifles are nice and all, but nothing really beat the feeling of locking down a hallway with that monster.
