I want to order this but I can only get it from GMG (I have credit), which means I wouldn't get the steam pre-order specials. Are those worth it? I'd also save 6$ on GMG.

I seriously doubt people are getting steam banned for any sort of cheating. Overkill (or whoever moderates that shit) might think they can, but 10bux says valve would tell them to just fuck off.
Though the shitstorm would be hilarious if people got game banned for doing stuff like swapping playermodels like in the cops dancing video.
Just had a weird bank heist. All the doors were open including the vault door at the start. There was a huge pile of money in the center and there was a "ghost" outline of a camera and once it was placed the money stack got an option to "burn". The money burned for about 2 minutes then we had to take the camera and get to the van but it was invisible. Also there was gold bag that was worth about 51k. Will post screenshots in a minute.

All in all, stealthing the bank was amazing. One of the best times I've had so far in PD2.
Anyone else think they should separate risk and difficulty? The risk is a neat idea, but as for replacing difficulty, I feel like it's not working out as well as it could be.

Technically not removed, but the Beta will shut down and Payday 2 will release. Your stats and items will not carry over.

Even if saves would work in retail, I wouldn't bother.
Starting fresh is more fun to me than carrying already overleveled/overfarmed characters inbetween games.
For the masterminds out there, any tips on how to reliably make enemies surrender and what weapons to use? So far I only know that one suppressed crosskill shot is enough to make a normal policeman surrender

at the moment you can only have one person surrender at a time, you'll have to kill them if you want another to surrender

It's bloody ridiculous and makes stealthing the bank (for example) ridiculously hard. You're basically only going to succeed in stealthing other heists if they have precisely four guards and a well levelled Mastermind on the team.

I know the limit is 1 in casing mode but once the alarm is triggered you can make more than one surrender, I'm almost sure of it. You can have only 1 converted enemy though
I shall go test it out
The limit for casing mode I assume is because otherwise you'd never have to answer to pagers
E: alright I was wrong apparently you can't have more than one, but you can have a surrendered enemy and a converted one at the same time
I'm still wondering what is the point of allowing players to shout at cops to surrender if it only actually works if you have a perk
