I have a question about answering pagers, is the limit of how many you can answer 2 or is it just random wether you fail it?
So I was playing Rats with a friend on a pub lobby. Some guy fucked up Day 1 straight away, so we started Day 2 with no meth. I scouted the map and found only one safe, planted a drill and then it got broken. The thing is,I couldn't fix it. Everyone got into custody but me. After a while, suddenly one guy respawned and fixed the drill for me. Video form:

Where can I report this? Seems like a major bug to me.
By the way, after we opened the safe, there was no intel. Me and my friend went through the map again and couldn't find any more safes, no escape option popped up.

Hard limit 2, three for a mastermind who has the perk. That's across the team, and the Mastermind has to answer the third.

10/10 teammates you got there.
While you're explaining the situation, your lovely companions are going:
"idgaf"
"fix the damn thing we're all dead"
"wtf are you doing"
Pubs.

One of them was a friend, plus I did jack shit to help them. I'm as bad as they are :v:
Man, that Bernetti pistol does bugger all damage. But god damn do I love it so much.
Holy hell yes, logged into steam today and have payday 2 beta for no reason, just sitting in my library waiting to be noticed.

Everyone who owns the first Payday get the beta for free pretty sure.
Never played the first one because it didn't interest me too much, but this one looks neat
Only problem is, I feel like after you learn the maps that it'll get really boring. Specifically the "intel" perk you can buy which gives you a floor map of the heist area, seems completely useless once you learn where the things are anyways.
Whats the replay value like for the missions? If the maps and situations are somewhat randomized then that would really help against "learning the map and then winning through memorization". I just feel like if everything is static then once you've beat all the heists there is no point in playing again as there will always be that one way to complete the mission without fail/challenge.

Most things are place randomly such as guards, vaults, cameras etc. which is usually enough to keep you on your toes.
(the list on Steam page has Latvia as acceptable country to play in)
I don't get where people are getting this from, I don't see any sort of list or anything stating that the game can only be gifted/played in certain countries anywhere on the store page.
It'd be neat if, aside from the small differences from game-to-game, there were more significant ones that were rarer and mixed things up more, maybe with opportunities to get a bigger payout.

Who knows there may be, there's 'hacked' versions of that bank map that has Gold bars, or burnable money
I think Watchdogs' first map may have a variant down the line, police sometimes spawn in those huge garages and walk through the closed doors.

Like the C4 in Counterfeit? Where if you managed to defuse the bombs you could get a shit ton of cash.

How do you trigger this scenario?
How do you trigger this scenario?
It appears to be a bug. Has been happening since the first day of beta.
there's so much room for more stuff, that's the thing
they could add anything from something simple like the jewellery store playing host to a big valuable gem, to a parade filling the street on four stores with floats and shitloads of civillians
hell, what if the store clerks could randomly pull a shotgun on you when alerted and lock down the store with shutters?
Do you leave whoever was in that store behind and take the hit to your payout, or do you cut through the shutters?
what if a civilian could decide to play the hero and try to take your gun off you?
what if a bank job was a set up, and the vault was trapped?
there is so many possibilities for things they could do, it's crazy
but first they need to sort the saving situation, because the fact that in 2013 your game can crash and you can lose your progress on an online game is absurd
what if a civilian could decide to play the hero and try to take your gun off you?
While the other ones are cool, holy shit fuck that idea.
So are escape missions actually beneficial at all or is it just the game dicking you out of 5 minutes of your time at random?
So are escape missions actually beneficial at all or is it just the game dicking you out of 5 minutes of your time at random?
The latter. Personally I don't have much of a problem with it. Escape missions offer some much needed variety in between the same old heists, and it doesn't make sense that the crew can just waltz all over D.C. all willy-nilly with the authorities hardly batting an eye.
Plus you can lose your loot from the previous day if you can't get it all to the escape so it's not like it doesn't affect your payday or anything.
So really they're the opposite of beneficial but they have a purpose.
I think the score levels will be the same thing except with the benefit of being able to score more loot on top of what you already have.
escapes are ridiculously easy though in comparison to the heist
I don't get where people are getting this from, I don't see any sort of list or anything stating that the game can only be gifted/played in certain countries anywhere on the store page.
Because you don't have region blocks. And if you are interested, you can check PD2 store page using www.steampowered.com/?cc=ru, and it says "Purchases made in Russia and CIS countries will only be playable in Russia and CIS countries.". My friend told me that Latvia is in that list(somehow), but I am not sure. I made a mistake already with Max Payne 3, don't really want to repeat it.
escapes are ridiculously easy though in comparison to the heist
The carpark one is easy as hell, unless no one notices the locked door, and even then it's not too hard.
What are these escape missions are you guys talking about? Did they add them in a recent update or something?
What are these escape missions are you guys talking about? Did they add them in a recent update or something?
Playing Rats sometimes between days it will trigger escape levels, you have to reach the escape van in a limited time or your crew will fail. There are 5 escape levels I think.
Edit: Well, ninjed.
escapes are ridiculously easy though in comparison to the heist
Obviously, but its still a completely random occurrence that makes the heist last longer with no reward. They should atleast give experience.
Getting out of there with all your loot is the reward.
It's not supposed to be a positive thing in the heist.
