Future DLCs might be region locked too so if I have an outside region version I'll have problems buying DLCs. At least that's how it was with Borderlands 2 I think.
Well without going retail you'll pretty much be locked out of re-buying the game for your account (as the way the game is currently set up on Steam anyway), so I doubt anything will happen.
Actually now that I look at it, I don't think there's any sign of any online region lock. The lock only means that if you buy the game in one of those countries, you can only play it if you're in one of those countries. So as long as I don't move to another country or something I should be good.

That's silly, just adding a extended magazine does not automatically make a gun a different type.
Sure I can imagine giving it to the 7.62 AK rifle would make it awfully overpowered, but just keep it to the subbies then.
Adding a Beta-C mag to a Glock does not make it a LMG, it just makes it a Glock with a huge ammo capacity.
Only guns I can imagine it on is the Para, Saiga 12 type shotgun, MP5 and the AMCAR.
And of course stats can be adjusted to their liking, it's just that I adore the ammo capacity over actual firing power.
Does someone have a spare beta key? My friend needs to be convinced to buy this, he watches videos and said he's unsure. I think 2 rounds of a heist will convince him to preorder this :v:

Actually it's supposed to affect you because you seem to be living outside of CIS. Region lock still works on gifted games as long as they were bought in the locked region.

Make sure you've set it to another resolution that's exactly 16:9, like 1280x720, 1366x768 or 1600x900.

Just to tell you about how good this game is, the publisher has already covered development costs 6 days before release, thanks to pre-orders. Overkill and 505 Games are already splitting royalties
Hell, even the CCE edition still costs less than 60€. It's really worth the money, as we're supposed to have at least three times the heists we currently do

Nope, first time he saw this game was 2 days ago. I think with a beta key he could check it out by himself. I want to convince him to buy it but he needs to play it before I can do that.
