I think if you have the loot bag dlc you can sometimes get extra copies of the content.

If they have to keep this P2P hosting, they should have it like in Modern warfare 2 (among others);
If the host leaves/disconnects for crashing reasons it should switch host to another player. So many Rats and watchdogs on overkill with all coke/meth bags lost because of host DC.

There's plenty of situations where it's a better idea to move as soon as possible. Even on Overkill it's possible to move your team and any loot under fire, it's just a matter of picking the right moments to move and covering each other's movement. If the team's just used up the last ammo bag that's usually the best time to move - ammo is life in this game.

Yeah it makes me feel conflicted as well. Payday is awesome and the developers can be really nice and funny sometimes (like that guy who was giving out beta keys earlier), but then you get their hate for people messing around with their files.

specially when it's their own game, and people are advertising it.
You know that saying, "Any advertising is good advertising"? Well, perfect case in point here. They should have taken it a lot more lightly, and made it a gag instead of acting like Hitler.

the main reason they were touchy about that image in particular is because it was using the cloaker model that has not actually been incorporated into the game yet

I think Crime.net makes sense as a public matchmaking system, but I don't like how it's still used outside of that. In the end, it just makes you have to wait for the specific mission/difficulty you want to pop up.

It's also an anti-grinding countermeasure.
Considering I only play with friends and we've only played Panic Room in PD1, I can already see frustration when we find our favorite heist, but we can't play it.
