..shit. I"d just keep the file there for now, then purge it later then.
To uninstall the beta, open control panel and go to the Uninstall Programs thing where you uninstall non-steam games and find Payday 2 Beta and uninstall it.
I used 'Deleted Local Content' on the beta, it causes the full game to download about 750mb more. Looks like it was borrowing stuff from the Beta.
