I don't know what the fuck is happening.
When I try to launch the game from the .exe in the payday2 folder it tells me it can't run because it's already running, but both Steam and Windows Task Manager say it isn't running at all.
I've tried restarting steam and restarting my PC but nothing changes.
Yes Steam, only "7 minutes" or less to go, that 0 bytes/s is zooming me through the download!

Try restarting steam - that triggered my game to download the 680MB CCE content again
though you know, you have to download at 0b/s so it might take a bit

Unless they actually implemented some kind of anti cheat and your savegame is stored on their servers now (unlikely but i'm just speculating), and because of the high load everyone is crashing when the game tries to save?

If you're getting crashes restart Steam it'll download the missing 110.8 MB
Disk write error sounds weird. Maybe check the steam page discussions
