Try running steam as Administrator, I have the same problem that steam tells me I'm out of space when I got 300gb left.

Well, make sure you're at the main menu, not in a lobby.
On another note, I'm still stuck at 5.7Gb/5.9Gb even though I preloaded last night. This has given me a horrible headache and now I'm drugged up on ibuprofen. So while Payday 2 DOESN'T download (0 Bytes/S), I think I'll just go play some Hitman Bloodmoney indefinitely as that's how long Payday 2 will take.

Actually, I wouldn't expect this from EA - because they have the budgets to not to it. As it is, Overkill isn't the biggest company, so some corners have to be cut occasionally. And that's okay.
I give up, I'm just going to shift the beta shit in the file and download whatever
Now just watch it completely ignore the 12gb of beta content and want to download the entire game from scratch, as a final kick in the balls

i understand they arent a big company but if they could do specific levels for specific heist as example Watchdogs and Rats why couldnt they do the same for these?
it feels really bad visiting the same place in a DIFFERENT heist becouse 1. you expect someting new and 2. you know exactly the same layout etc etc
not sure if part of the anticheat or just my computer being rubbish, but when im ingame, if i tab out my mouse clicks are blocked :(
just managed to solo 4stores on hard though, its a different game without the saw or c4 :v

For some reason, the download won't go further, it's at 0 bytes/second but the bar keeps going forward, as if it IS downloading something.
My steam overlay hasn't worked in the beta and still doesn't work on release, anyone know why that is?
