You're more likely to force them to take cover or dodge out of the way, which means they shoot at you less.
Oh I see. Thanks.
So what does the Oppressor skill actually do? It says that your weapons becomes more effective at suppressing enemies. What does that mean? Do you do more damage? Do you stun them more often? What?
When you shoot at enemies you suppress them, preventing them from firing back If you get that skill, your supression is much more effective making them likely not to fire back even more.

What's so bad about Big Oil? I haven't been able to find a game hosting it.
What's so bad about Big Oil? I haven't been able to find a game hosting it.
The first day is relatively simple, but the first is pretty much a stealth mission, but if you screw that up there's 3 key card doors, one has a computer behind it, after that you go into the lab, in which you need to see which one of the engines is the correct one, there's a 1:20 chance which requires some calculations, etc. and if you fuck it up the first time swat will be called and there's no way to fully stealth it.
You're more likely to force them to take cover or dodge out of the way, which means they shoot at you less.
Just to be clear, you know how you sometimes see a SWAT kneeling with his head down? That's their 'suppressed' position. Which funny enough, they go into a lot, even in the open. In my experience, suppressed SWAT have a high chance to surrender if you have Dominator.
What's so bad about Big Oil? I haven't been able to find a game hosting it.
How slow you move with the engines and the fact that it takes a math and chemistry major plus the right aligning of the moon to figure out which of the many engines you have to take.
How slow you move with the engines and the fact that it takes a math and chemistry major plus the right aligning of the moon to figure out which of the many engines you have to take.
You have to find a clipboard telling you the right chemical and look at one computer showing you the pressure and do a simple calculation to convert it into the pressure readers on the gas. At that point you can narrow it down to like 3 and if you get another clipboard showing you the amount of hydrogen connections then you can narrow it down to 1.
What's so bad about Big Oil? I haven't been able to find a game hosting it.
You can't stealth the first day because killing a gangster alerts all of them, which alerts the cops (it's the same with Rats Day 2). The second level is hard because you have to do some magic shit or something I don't know to find the right Engine, which nobody seems to know how to do (myself included). Also if you fuck up Stealth, you have to do that while fighting cops. You also have to move it through an area with no cover to an airstrip with no cover, then wait to make sure it's the right one. Repeat until out of health or ammo and lose. What's the white board good for then?

It's like the only heist that Overkill did right and is the best heist in the game content wise. It's payout is shit but the experience of doing it/what you have to do is pretty damn fun. Everyone that I've seen bitching about it are fucking morons/retards on SPUF and the discussion pages whining and complaining that it's "too hard" because they're babies that need to have their hands held through every heist and can't stand the fact that you actually have to pay attention to detail and not be a complete fucking retard to do it right the first time. The only math that is involved in the heist is converting a certain pressure to PSI which is not that hard and the only chemistry shit that you need to know is all written out on the whiteboards found in the lab and the clipboards found in the house on day 1 and the house in day 2. All it takes is reading one guide, and that's it: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=169466707 now people can stop bitching and complaining and actually do the heist without having their hands held and crying about it. If you can't follow/understand the guide even when it's the most simplest guide out there for Big Oil, you should pretty much just give up ever doing it correctly.
but the experience of doing it/what you have to do is pretty damn fun.
I agree with this, although I have yet to actually do the heist on my own. But the thing is, you have to get people want their effort rewarded for figuring all that out, sure it's not very hard but people want some kind of reward especially since it's a pro only job, and a payout of 200k on hard/very hard I think is just awful.
up the rewards for each level from like $200k to like $700k on hard, $900k-$1M~on very hard, and like $1.5-$3M~ on overkill and people will stop bitching.

The only part that makes this hard is that you stay in one location a lot longer than most heists if you don't have a keycard or enough C4/ECM and some luck. This causes more cops to spawn each assault, and by the time you get the engines, you've already depleted yourself of the resources and have to face an onslaught. Then it requires a lot more waiting as checking the engines takes quite awhile.

Worked like a charm.
What the fuck is wrong with some people? Rats, overkill, day 3, been there through every fucking day, carried this fucktard called gustavpeeker through everything, we get to the bus, I pick up money and defuse my C4, I see him next to me as he takes money aswell and just runs off, leaving the C4 there, we all walk towards the escape heli, he and his retarded fuck of a friend decide to wait for the fucking loot chopper to secure the money that we do have, then they walk over there and demand that I and another guy also secure the money in the loot chopper, at which point I ask him ''If you wanted the money so bad why did you let the bus blow up?'' to which he said that it was my fault, and I pointed out that I very clearly saw him run off, his retarded little friend Scribbler makes some dumb remark about arabs, then the guy says ''we like to kick people :)'' and bam, I'm kicked, right outside of the escape circle, after being there since day 1, no reward, no payday, no fucking nothing, fuck those two little faggots.
This and statfucking hackers is why I'm never playing pubs

Most people I play with seem to have an unspoken grudge for double ammo/health bags.
Most people I play with seem to have an unspoken grudge for double ammo/health bags.
It's unbelievable the amount of retards I've met that have this thing for hating people with the double bag/charges perks. For example, I joined an overkill, pro job, Rats with 3 other dudes and we got to loadout screen and I noticed that all of them were using ammo bags including me. I told them that either A) two people change to medbags or B) someone with the docbag perk changes to it or else we're not going to get anywhere. The retards wouldn't change even though they said they can use docbags so I explained to them that I had the 2x ammo bags + charges perk so it would really be uncessary to have so many people with ammo bags when I can basically supply everyone with 2x charges as anyone else. They all get bitchy and tell me that I'm being an asshole because I don't want them to play the way they want to play. They can play the way they want to play all they want but if they're going to all go ammo bag and think that they can rambo this shit then they're fucking morons. After like 2 mins of arguing with these shitheads the host finallly said that they weren't changing anything and that he was kicking me for delaying their game so I got kicked and what do you know, the person hosting the game is a part of the T$E clan and had their faggy clantag and everything. tl;dr T$E is a shit clan full of shit people and they should fuck off to another game (at least the ones that make T$E look bad)
and what do you know, the person hosting the game is a part of the T$E clan and had their faggy clantag and everything. tl;dr T$E is a shit clan full of shit people and they should fuck off to another game
First off, calm down. Second off, to auto assume that all of T$E is bad is a horrible idea. T$E is generally not great at playing the game, but to say they're a shit clan is just plain wrong. Remember it's a public clan, so of course you're gonna have shit players put on the tag because they're "uber top tier dey best at Paeday".
tl;dr T$E is a shit clan full of shit people and they should fuck off to another game
This is been explained several times before, you have your right to an opinion and all that but T$E has had a BIG issue with people using their clantag that are shit at the game and ruin the "image" they're trying to keep as the "good and friendly" PAYDAY players and aren't all assholes, just the ones that are "self-proclaimed" pros. Then again I have no affiliation with T$E and this is just stuff I know that was explained before. tl;dr stay the fuck away from anyone with a T$E tag unless they seem to know what they're doing.
T$E is generally not great at playing the game, but to say they're a shit clan is just plain wrong. I don't know about pubs, but I guess I'm lucky that nearly most of my runs w/ them are "ok". i saw a guy who used the protagonist infamous pattern on a skull that had the blood red metalish looking material and he painted it fucking bright-ass purple and some pink color why

And those 2 idiot's shouldn't play the game if they are being stupid and retarded in such heist's like that. I have yet to experience this yet again but possibly saturday night or sunday.
