Been playing almost exclusively as part of a 4 player group so I tried playing solo. The bot AI in this game is simply unacceptable to the point where I wonder why they even included the ability to have them. They can't pick up bags, they have terrible waypointing (Chainsbot stayed outside of the Nightclub the entire level) and they aren't particularly good shots despite being literally aimbots. Like I said, I rarely find myself in a situation where I have to deal with AI behavior because I'm always part of a group, but how did this pass QA?
Since I haven't had a broadband connection for 6 days and counting I tried to solo Framing Frame.
Fucks sake every time I start day 3 I can just see in my head the devs take out 5 needles and drop them in a haystack

They were added as an afterthought due to community outcry

I suppose, but it's a really bad reflection on the game itself. There is an offline component that lets you play by yourself with an option to play with AI. Oh, this is a coop game at heart, I'm sure I'll need the AI to help. What's this? They can't pick up bags? Chains is stuck staring at a wall? Well shit.

Depends. 50% of the promised content is missing, and offline AI is pretty much useless, unless you like solo-ing missions.
It's great for a couple of days or so, but gets boring since there's not much heists, and not much to spend your cash on. You'll be card farming after a while since money is pretty much useless after a certain level.

I'm not throwing in the towel quite yet, and I'd actually still recommend the game to people as long as you have a friend or group to play with, but...
This is honestly where I'm at right now. 27 total hours, which granted is a lot for the first week of release. I've completed every heist several times on Overkill and I have millions stacking up with nothing to buy because the mods I want never drop, I have the two weapons I need, and skill points come in so slowly that I make more than enough money to cover them. I've fallen into the inevitable trap of just doing overkill 1 day missions because they are the fastest, and picking up Ukrainian/Nightclub whenever I can.

I got nothing but weapon mods for 50 levels, then between 50 and 54 I got an inventory full of masks and they won't stop. Hell, I'd rather get cash cards at this point. :v:
i really love getting to the final part of watch dogs on pro overkill, and two assholes sit still and idle for 4 minutes ruining everything, then when they get back they dont even say sorry and just leave.
Overkill needs to go the route of Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer and just do a ton of events while continuously adding more weapons/levels/difficulties

Like any other coop game the levels get stale after a short while, but its still a really solid game hampered by a lack of content. If you play just to grind for cards then you're not going to have much fun. There's still plenty of stuff to spend your cash on like new attachments and perks.
