Host you own games, it's way less hassle, plus if you come across any dipshits, you can kick them.
I'm approaching 7 million in cash to spend, nothing to spend it on :( [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] I suppose I could respec loads, but thats just a waste.
I heavily dislike the shields ability to do a near instant 180 and block things
overkill framing frame get 9 paintings without sounding an alarm day 2 no ambush cops come anyway but we get all 9 moneybags to van and i get downed crash to desktop without an error gonna kill myself brb
So I just played PAYDAY 1 for a bit, and I admit I prefer the first one over the second one. The gun play feels much better. The soundtrack is better as well. I just think it's better in general. PD2 is good and everything but it's starting to get boring already. It sucks how hardly anyone plays PD1 anymore.

Finished a Rats run, made 4 meth bags, stole the money and the meth. Then only managed to grab two bags of cash from the bus before it blew. Was pretty fun.
um Payday 2 has actual heists and not just infinite cops storming towards you with aimbot infinetly, but thats like your opinion man
payday 2 has plenty of infinite killbot cops now with more health. the guns look and sound wayyyy better than in payday 1, but as far as the actual combat goes nothing has changed.

And you know, you actually robbed large banks and big vaults, not just some kiddie bank in the middle of the street. The only maps I feel meets the scope of the first maps is "Big Oil day 2", "Framing Frame Day 1 & 3" and "Firestarter Day 2" Maybe it's just me but I preferred bigger, larger more complicated maps to the small tiny maps we have now.
That's exactly how you need to do it I've heard. The ST can't answer 4 pagers himself afaik
ST can answer 4 pagers himself. I have ST (not aced) and I can do it.

The IZHMA is pretty boss with the sniper stock, even if it looks a bit silly (accuracy decreases pellet spread, if you didn't know) I really wish the laser attachment was brighter, I can barely see it most of the times
What was with that EQUAHSCHO thing never heard it
El Hoxo [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] But Wolf has a weird ass Swedish(?) accent.
i hope the payday 1 heists get added, as much as i like the payday 2 heists it would be cool to have both i miss playing no mercy
But Wolf has a weird ass Swedish(?) accent.
Considering he's swedish...
i hope the payday 1 heists get added, as much as i like the payday 2 heists it would be cool to have both i miss playing no mercy
After seeing it done with L4D2, I'm not sure it'd be fair at all for the Payday 1 players. What would the point of owning the first game be, aside from duper sexy sheffield accent live action?
Considering he's swedish...
Oh, that was a bad ass guess then.
Yeah, El Hoxo. That fucking Swedish accent is making me sick, he tried to bend it into Spanish. "EL SCHUAXO" And something about Bain's accent also is really weird. He pronounces some words really bad, can't think of one out of the top of my head but I know he fucked one up pretty good. Also, the CMP recoil is super odd, the recoil goes down mostly, unlike most of the guns where most of the recoil goes up and to the sides.
Got the trophy for spending 1mil spending cash, but didn't get the trophy for earning 1mil spending cash.
You need to have all the money at once for earning, but spending adds up because there's no single item worth $1mil.
- Simon will patch the Nightclub music - There's eight or ten variations of Hoxton's name, he will not say nicknames during assaults and they are thinking about adding more nicknames
Too bad that Hox is a big fat FRAUD Nobody can replace the real Hoxtolicious
I was playing last night and I heard Hoxtone say "They've got snipers, keep away from the windows fellas!" He watches over us still.
I was playing last night and I heard Hoxtone say "They've got snipers, keep away from the windows fellas!" He watches over us still.
The early alpha videos still had his voice in, like that nighttime watchdogs mission posted a few pages back I miss Hoxtone
Finished a Rats run, made 4 meth bags, stole the money and the meth. Then only managed to grab two bags of cash from the bus before it blew. Was pretty fun.
The first time I played rats, my team managed to make 4 bags of meth, steal it back along with the payment, and then when I was on the bus trying to bag some cash, the bus exploded. I was incredibly disappointed to lose all of the money in that bus.
Today i realised that ghost is kinda useless class. It really needs to be fixed.
Ghost has some nice passive skills (knocking down enemies is awesome) but almost nothing in the class screams "must have" and their class specific abilities aren't really good at all in 99% of game situations (in that 1% its good, but not good enough to make it more worth it than focusing on mastermind or something instead). Lockpicking speed should be buffed and lowered on the tree, ECM need to prevent pagers from going off (its balanced because ECM is very limited in use otherwise with its short timer and the fact that "silent killing" is pointless when it always makes pagers go off), they need more stuff that lets them actually stealth good without needing to be a mastermind, they need abilitites that keep them relevant during assaults, etc. I mean, being able to sprint in any direction, really? Thats a top teir ability for ghost? What if instead it was something like, "guards and civilians who are alerted by something or someone else won't notice you while they are alerted"? That would syngergize greatly with the entire role of a ghost and would be useful for any situation. Or maybe a skill that let it so if you were moving while crouched the enemy would need to get much closer to you before they'd engage or notice, which would not only work good in stealth but also allow ghosts to more easily get behind enemy lines during assaults if you ever need to do that ( such as getting to a van, getting boards, getting ingredients, etc). THere is so much they could have done to make ghost relevant for the class in both stealth and assault, but in the end all they do is just do stealth half-decent (you still need a mastermind to do it well), and have absolutely nothing of serious value beyond that. The entire tree is half baked, and its full of neat-ish passives that are nice but don't really define the class in anyway or really give you a reason to bother going ghost anyways. It sucks because I love "ghost-like" classes and playstyles in games, but its clear the developers are all pretty much mastermind/enforcer type players and the entire ghost tree and their abilities were an afterthought.
Too bad that Hox is a big fat FRAUD Nobody can replace the real Hoxtolicious
Hoxton from first time died in Payday 1. Rest of crew is so distraught that they feel if the put his mask on someone else and call him Hoxton, it will feel like he's still there.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/kqUIyC7.jpg[/t] After masks? Always bet on middle! [t]http://i.imgur.com/PV9dN5d.jpg[/t] ...shit.
Finished another run of Rats, did another 4 bags. Got a few bags of cash from the bus. Then as it got to Payday everyone lost connection. I still got to pick a card though, don't know if everyone got the money and exp.

It sucks how hardly anyone plays PD1 anymore.
Having just gone back for nostalgia in a heist or two of Payday 1, I can say this. Payday 2 wins out in: Gunplay Audio Leveling and Rewards Lobby System and Joining Speed Uniqueness of Classes Payday 2 completely fails in: Characterized Heists (Same fucking bank five times over.) Music (Set music from PD1 versus random songs. The tracks are good. Their random nature isn't.) Hoxtwo Special Units (I swear I almost typed special infected.) I say special units because in Payday 1, they were all rather unique (sans shared helmet for Taser/Shield.) In Payday 2, the Taser looks like a mix between a blue rodeo clown, futurecop, and your standard SWAT. Shields are just equipment now. Snipers are practically harmless target practice. Cloakers don't exist. And while I adore the new Bulldozer design over the classic bubble-helmet, they don't really do anything. The old ones bust out of walls, vans, and generally fucked you up. In this, they're just bullet sponges that occasionally spawn behind the escape van and make our crew scream like school children.
