I heavily dislike the shields ability to do a near instant 180 and block things
In my experience, you ALWAYS need two people to take down a shield.
In my experience, you ALWAYS need two people to take down a shield.
Unless you sprint at it and it gets confused.
Unless you sprint at it and it gets confused.
By seeing another person, yes.
Music (Set music from PD1 versus random songs. The tracks are good. Their random nature isn't.
For some reason I feel like the entire soundtrack isn't actually ingame, still. I mean, the 'where's the van' track, as said, is probably fitting for an escape mission but isn't ingame.
Bought the CAR-4 rifle, switching between that and the AK. Might sell the AK as the CAR-4 feels alot better than the AK. Just still need to get a silencer, haven't had a single silencer drop yet.
The old ones bust out of walls, vans, and generally fucked you up.
They need either a "storm" ability where they can charge at you and knock you down like shields do, bash down doors/wooden barriers and maybe have some commander perk where units around them become stronger. I'd like to see them kick through doors and smash their way through your plank barriers the most though. I mean its a fucking big guy in a bomb suit essentially, he's not gonna give a fuck about a door or your pesky little wood block. [editline]20th August 2013[/editline]
In my experience, you ALWAYS need two people to take down a shield.
Sprint at it, jump, shoot in head if the fucker doesn't react quick enough (3/4 times this works for me). Shield gone.
By seeing another person, yes.
Who's 3 rooms over and through several walls, yes.
Ghost is only useful in the Frame Job. I also wished Cat Burglar actually removed all fall damage, but since it doesn't it's an entirely worthless perk.
Ghost is only useful in the Frame Job. You still lose health if you lose all your armor.
Payday 2 completely fails in: Music (Set music from PD1 versus random songs. The tracks are good. Their random nature isn't.)
I remember Simon saying that the reason each map doesn't have it's own music is because there are too many of them. Which makes zero sense considering that there are only about 12 different maps if you don't count the bank ones.
Ghost is only useful in the Frame Job. If you run out of the 4 charges for answering the pagers, you can cuff one more guy.
not entirely worthless but fuck. It doesn't even do what it says it does. You still lose health if you lose all your armor.
There's basically a fall damage threshold that if you exceed you will go down regardless. This happens in the Frame job first level, the windows are entirely designed for a ghost with the perk, but unless you fall onto the walls (assuming its the ones without clips) you will go down. So yes, the perk doesn't even work for a level designed with it in mind.
So has anyone got to level 100 to see what happens?
Honestly even for sneaking, Mastermind is the best. If you run out of the 4 charges for answering the pagers, you can cuff one more guy.
A Ghost is a masterminds best friend in that they can help with body bagging potential problems that can arise on the stealth missions. Outside of that, a Ghost is useless. Oh you can lockpick safes? Tech can blow them up within seconds. Oh, you can open that door with a jammer? The key card is easy to find in the first place.
So has anyone got to level 100 to see what happens?
What would happen? I mean, I know of a few people who are 100, but they didn't get anything special for it. I don't know why you would want something.
So has anyone got to level 100 to see what happens?
the only thing that happens is that you unlock the election day heist.
So has anyone got to level 100 to see what happens?
Yes Hoxtone visited me in my sleep and said "yerv got three wishes, ya twat."
What would happen? I mean, I know of a few people who are 100, but they didn't get anything special for it. I don't know why you would want something.
I thought there might be something.
I'm mostly speccing into ghost on the side to go crazylegs fast and hoover up bags
the only thing that happens is that you unlock the election day heist.
What?
Bain references 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in day 3 pf Framing Frame by saying "After this that might be our next big score." If there isn't a white house heist I"m going to be extremely disappointed.
Someone managed to join our game finally on PS3, and he sounds high as fuck. [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] Just got Sackcloth, looks great.
I played with two high guys the other day, it was all swell and entertaining until the host went afk to take a bong hit leaving us at the menu
I got my internet back today, huzzah! Played Big Oil just now for the first time, the guys I was playing with on Day 2 decided to not figure out what engine was the right one... and take all of them. Speaking of that, how do you figure it out. Whiteboards... aren't exactly helping
After the first playthrough big oil really isn't worth it.. the payout, as everyone has said before, isn't all that great.
It really frustrates me that things like Ukrainian Job exists, giving players $75k and 10-20k XP for 1 minute of work. Overkill did a TERRIBLE job balancing the time to money payoff of the whopping 7 heists in their game.

Then look at a computer for the psi reading. I am able to do it the first time 80% of the time without failure.
stealing nuclear launch codes pls
Dammit, the codes don't work Baaaaain

Whiteboards... aren't exactly helping
There are three things you need: 1.Small canister color (the big canister is always blue) - Look for a clipboard, it will mention one of the 3 gases that are written on the center whiteboard - use it to find the color 2. Number of nozzles coming out of the blue canister - another clipboard will mention 1 x H, 2 x H, 3 x H 3. Pressure - Look for a computer with a number on the upper center, multiply that number by 0.7 and divide it by 10
