Framing Frame day 1, my very first run even with 9 paintings taken
Crash after escape
FUCK

I rather have them than turtle swats/heavy FBI :v
Special cops have been drasticly nerfed in Payday 2.

Payday 2's crashes are even more enraging than most because it's just simple, quiet crash-to-desktops
Like most games have an error message or a freeze or something, but Payday 2 just closes, and that pisses me off even more for some reason

Mine just freezes, sound stops playing until I enter Task manager. Then I can hear music if I open the window but the program's fate is doomed, with the screen staying black and any guests getting kicked due to loss of connection
Also does anyone else hate hearing that loud wheezing death sound the cops sometimes make when you shoot/kill them? It makes me feel bad too
i personally find this sound to be hilarious and almost completely out of place
31 seconds, I'm getting slightly faster
if only I could find overkill ukranian jobs

Yesterday I was getting shitloads of Overkill Ukranian Jobs, and I didn't want any of them because I was trying to get the hidden safe open by myself and wanted a lower difficulty. Spent like 15 minutes waiting for one.
Somehow, the game KNOWS what you don't want, and offers it endlessly while holding back the shit you do.

Hidden safe ? Where ?
Hidden safe ? Where ?
In the back right room, on the other side of the wall, theres a safe. (It would be in the room that the boarded up door outside would lead to.) You have to stand in front of the safe that the tiara might spawn in, face it, crouch down and turn left. Look around a bit and you should see it.
It takes around 5 minutes to open with the drill, and when it does you have to loot it from the main room with all the jewelry in it; after going through the small hallway turn left, crouch down, and look around at the lower fleur de lis symbols near the corner of the wall
Theres a chance the safe will be empty, mine was, but theres also a chance that a cash stack will spawn in it.

Sounds more like a bug/leftover than a secret
Sounds more like a bug/leftover than a secret
Since the safe is still facing the wall so you can actually get the stuff from it, I'd say that it's intended
Besides, even if it was left over it's still pretty secret

Is there no clip in debug mode? Might want to actually look and see whats in that room.
If jammers start blocking pagers, is it going to work so that when you kill someone, there's no alert to answer to, or so that the pager operator can't reach the person, and instantly trigger the alarm?
If it's the first one, I'm going to speedrun day 1 of Framing Frames so fast.

The ECM probably stops the pager for the amount of time its active, and then it asks you to answer the pager again. Probably just a delay. I doubt it would outright block the need to answer the pager.

It's really bizarre, the AI flip flops from being incredibly "smart", brokenly so (Detecting you in impossible ways) to downright retarded.

alternatively it's because the players' hit-point for being spot/hit and the world model for the player are two different things.

The whole reason you have to answer is because of the noise of the person you killed hitting the floor gets transmitted. So, if you block the pager, they shouldnt get that noise so you shouldn't have to answer it.
Also, if you, say, have no skills purchased from Tier A, and Tier B is above it and you DO buy something from that, do you get the tier bonus for Tier A which you skipped and Tier B or just Tier B's?
civilians need to start acting like they have at least a small desire to remain alive

I think it's because the player's camera is in their crotch while the guards see from their eyes, so they can see around what you think is "cover"

Oh, seriously? Wow
My god I just got extremely lucky on FF Day 3. Got spotted by 2 guards at the exact same time, thought I was fucked because I only had 1 pager left. Melee'd the first guy and knocked him over, then the 2nd which killed him. Quickly assessed what I could do and made the guy that luckily didn't die surrender before just about answering the dead guys pager.

Have you ever stood in line at a bank for hours?
civilians need to start acting like they have at least a small desire to remain alive
why would they
it's a videogame, they'll just respawn :v:
Oh right so on PS3, you start with the basic rifle and pistol. You don't get the AK till level 4 and body armor till level 12. But PC you start with Rifle, Pistol, Silencer and Magazine mod, and at level 1 you get AK and body armor. What.
Aw yeh, managed to get a mil with a single heist

how do you only have 2 million in spending? by level 59 i had 20 million in spending
Have you ever stood in line at a bank for hours?
Always happens to me during the Ukrainian Job.
"OH NO THIS PLACE IS GETTING ROBBED AND I MIGHT GET SHOT. OH GOOD THE COPS CAME AND FREED ME NOW IM OUTSIDE. HMM I BETTER STAND IN THE BULLET CROSSFIRE. OH MAN YOU KNOW I THINK ID GO BACK INSIDE THE STORE WHERE THE SHOOT OUT IS TAKING PLACE RATHER THAN LEAVING." Fuckers.
Also got really good at doing Jewelery store with just 2 people. I run in mask on and shout, he comes in and bags. In and out every time in seconds with no alarms or police. Im sure everyone else is able to do this no sweat too, but it just feels good.
