After +183 levels, for the first time I played as someone else than Hoxton... It feels weird... Also, just 9 levels left to finally reach the top of the mountain.
I never got to play the first one even though I bought in on release, cause I had no friends who played it :C
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Finally4.jpg[/img_thumb] Ta-da! Finally reached level 193. I wish there was a way to keep leveling but without unlocking stuff, like an endless mode, because now completing challenges looks like a waste of money.. I know the stats sucks, I'm not good at shooting guns.

Maybe hit you up next week when I'm back at my Fathers and give it a shot if you have spare time.
Multiplayer could be 4v4. It could be called cops & robbers. 4 polices inside the building, meanwhile 4 civ skinned robbers also get in with other civvies. Polices would have no way to find out between a civ and a robber, because they would be the same skinned.
Son of a bitch, I want this out already. Starbound and Payday 2 are my two gravytrains so far this year, and I want them now :[
Not being able to level all classes up fully seems like a bad idea to me. Say you're trying to do a heist then they say "Oh we don't need X we need Y" and try to kick you.
Payday series has many potential to be a big crime game. Imagine not only being able to rob, but you can also manage heist for other people. You have funds, with that money you can either use it to buy stuff for heist or use to hire a group to rob for you. And depending how well or bad the hired group did it you will win or lose money. I just really hope Payday 2 has a more intelligent AI, like the civilians being on the ground instead of decide to stand in the middle of the shooting. Or at least the cop being also able to hurt civilians. Alternatively, reduce cop presence where the hostages are located to prevent civilians kill. Basically I'm hoping for the AI to use a better logic.

Sure it's kinda cool to have everyone think about how they want to spec and taking different roles in the team, but it takes away from the versatility. It would be a lot harder for me to go through as a stealth guy and then decide "I want to just shoot up the whole place this time around."
Maybe if you're a stealth guy, you get better silenced weapons to help with that.
Watched a little bit of stealth footage, Ghost seems quite handy. During the Jewelry store heist, the moment the drill starts the alarm goes off. However a Ghost can pick the lock on the safe, which is silent. However picking the lock takes 45 seconds (Possibly longer, as the Devs were max reputation) and being shot cancels the lockpicking, so you need someone to watch your back, but noone will hear you. Plus it's shown that guards have alarm pagers, where they must check in now and then, Ghost classes can remove and disable the pager, to make it so the guard never existed. If it's not removed, the alarm will soon sound. Personally I'm most interested in Mastermind, turning cops on each other (It's been stated you may be able to turn Special Units on each other) and commanding civilians to help revive you and such.
I am really hyped on this as I still play the first Payday. This may have been posted before but I noticed that the gameplay videos only have Wolf and Dallas. I hope that we still will be able to play with 4 players.

Don't blame them disabling bots. Both players appear as Dallas, one of them named Wolf, and use a mixture of Dallas and Hoxton lines for both of them
So far it looks like the heists are smaller with longer loading times.
Well it is very barebones at the moment, there should be larger ones. Hell, one of the teaser images was Wolf in front of the White House. Plus wasn't there like over or near 30 heists?
It would be cool if you could design your own character, obviously not like sims or anything that detailed, but like to choose between some different colored suits.

I never liked Overkill +145 much, it's just too much special units spam, other than that I was a challenging difficult. That is what I'm hoping for Payday 2, to be less an law enforcers slaughterhouse.
I mean, it's not entirely unfeasible, they do commit biological terrorism in No Mercy.
I think it shouldn't matter about realism, I think fun should be the main priority. I want a Die Hard type heist.
So they murder far over 300 men, possibly including a few civilians, committed biological terrorism, but as long as they let the single security guard go, y'all free to murder more.

Wow, this is just... cheap? Seriously, bulldozer is already can fuck everything in so tiny place, but 2 shokers and 2 cloackers?
Was it +145?
No idea, found it in one of the comments on the wiki [editline]8th April 2013[/editline]
Wow, this is just... cheap? Friendly fire is apparently not a priority.

Starting with Mike Ramond who asks ‘Will your AI teammates be able to complete objectives? Like grab the bag or tie the hostage?’ Overkill: We have moved to a fully cooperative game, so we will not have AI bot teammates as such. The player can heist on his own but will need to turn to other players for the extra muscle.
Well, there goes a bit of my hype...
