A tf2 mannco key on the marketplace is ~$2.20. 14 keys would be around $30-$32, and I know if you go back there is a link to someone selling cce for 14 keys, or normal edition for 9 keys. So technically it is on sale at any given moment, even if you bought them at the stock standard $2.50 in tf2. Also, saw two new items in inventory, almost cried out in joy. Turns out it was only emotes from the trading card beta going public.
Do what lots of us have done and find someone on tf2outpost who is selling it for TF2 keys, then buy the keys off the Steam Market. It'll end up much much cheaper. You can get criminal edition for less than the standard by doing that.
Holy fuck that's 50% cheaper, now I can actually afford to buy the game I love you guys
I think it's sort of a mild joke, that you're a 'chicken' for carrying a bulletproof vest, hence chicken plate? [editline]26th June 2013[/editline] Police lingo is weird.
Chicken plate is a nickname for the bullet proof vests in the Korean War, along with "Bullet Bouncers." If you want to get real technical, the proper armor nicknamed "Chicken Plate" was a very heavy vest used by airmen, similar to reinforced flak jackets. Ironically, some people ended up sitting on them instead or taking out the back plate and then sitting on it, as in helicopters, there was just as much of a threat of getting shot right up the butt. [t]http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/pp339/trog2/hughmills.jpg[/t] So the term: "Took one in the chicken plate!" just means "I took a bullet to my vest."
Oh fuck off steam. I log in and immediately get a popup saying I have 2 new items in my inventory. Said popup had an icon that I believe was a key of somesort. I go to my inventory going SHITSHITSHITSHIT Two bloody emoticons for participating in the Steam Trading Card beta. What a fucking letdown

I always knew I could sell it, I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle. I fucking love you
search>put in steam item>search payday>drag payday 2 into the left grid then you should see anyone looking to give payday 2 for keys
I see that now. Can't I only buy keys while I'm in TF2 or w/e? Cause I don't have it installed anymore. Also how do I tell how many keys they want? Edit nvm..

So, around $33 for 15 keys

the beta is going to be the first time I play payday how fucked am I?
ok so I guess the beta starts for people who just bought the game, and not the criminal edition starts in July? where can I find information on this I wanted to start playing in the beta, but.. What the zog, man. I am so confused can someone hold me and help
No, only CCE buyers are getting beta keys I think. And that beta starts in July. There's closed beta testing going on now I guess but that was only if you got an invite somehow or other. Regular players have to wait for the game release, I believe.
Tried playing Payday again for the first time in months. Got kicked for being the last guy alive even though I rezzed everyone over and over because they didn't know how to take cover despite being way higher ranked than me. Why is it always the dead games with the worst communities?
The number says 700 but matchmaking set to close and far only brings up 4 games at a time, close sometimes doesn't bring up any.
well that's bullshit off to steam to get it refunded
uhm why lol did you preorder JUST to play the beta and not to play, you know, the actual game?
uhm why lol did you preorder JUST to play the beta and not to play, you know, the actual game?
I bought the first one. I was pre-ordering this so I could play in a beta that is being advertised, but I had no idea that it wasn't accessible to people who bought their game. I bought it for the actual game, yes, because I liked the first one. But I'd rather wait till it's actually out to buy the full game, and getting to know the game in it's beta stages. Seems a bit ridiculous that they limited their beta access to a certain edition, $20 extra for that? Meh. I'm still wanting to get it refunded in any way possible.
You contradicted yourself like... three times in that statement. You'll still get the beta... later. Why would you refund it just to buy it again later as a preorder to get the beta?

You're saying things that don't make sense. You're still getting it, you've just made the transaction earlier. There is literally no difference to pre-ordering now, and pre-ordering in a week. That, and your $20 gets you the soundtrack and the game's equivalent to a strategy guide and a few ingame bonuses.
If you want the bare-bones game you can get it for £13. (via Amazon) I just got the Career Criminal Edition because it was only £5 more than the pre-order one on steam. Not to mention for an extra £5 you get the soundtrack (which is worth more than £5 imo) and other goodies. I'm also giving the extra beta key to my brother, he wasn't too fond of PayDay 1, so hopefully he'll change his mind when he plays PayDay 2.
Where are you getting $20 from? CCE edition is only like £5 more, and that really can't equate to $20.

I downloaded and installed it, and played it with friends. That's the thing with Payday, is that it's more fun with friends. And now that my friend, is not sure of buying it, or even getting it, I'm unsure I want it. I'm on the fence because of this. I have no friends I can play with, and have fun with. That's mostly the reason why I wanted a refund.
Where are you getting $20 from? wow you guys are getting fucked over [editline]26th June 2013[/editline]
Your regular edition costs way more, so I guess that makes sense.
Your regular edition costs way more, so I guess that makes sense.
Oh yeah, that's a fair point. Still, it's weird the difference in how the pricing is managed there.
