40 hours from the beta and 51 hours into the release and I'm still having fun even though we got a bit shafted with how overkill is handling the release. It's been two weeks and we've already had 3 significant patches (or was it 2?). Magically the game works perfectly fine for me with no crashes so I can't feel many of your pain and the troubles with playing with others are fairly mute for me; I just run into quite a few people who are afk in which case I just start my own lobby.
As the game stands now I'm happy just collecting money with a heist or two a day and I eagerly await for their first DLC and whatever else Overkill has in store for us.

You know, I wonder if they've thought of doing a smash and grab heist where you have to ram a car through a super market front and steal electronics or something similar involving having to ram a car through the front of a building.

If you have smooth talker/ shinobi aced and you're not terrible you can do the last day in 5 tries on a bad day.

The first time I tried it took about an hour but mostly because I kept restarting trying to get all nine paintings and just try various methods out. Now I can run the entire heist in about 15 to 20 minutes with no failures.
Teaching my Level 1 noob friend brings a tear to my eye.
It's like looking into the past.

If you've practiced Framing Frame at all you can do it in 5 minutes or less if the guards aren't going out of their way to piss you off.

I did this last night and setup a public game so I had a couple more new guys running through it with us.
I was insanely nervous because I decided to do Rats as I figured it would be mad cash and xp for him but then I'm thinking, "Public game with total newbies... What are the odds of us not blowing up everything?"
Turned out great though as while new, everyone was pretty chill and learnt pretty fast.

I've only played it once a few days ago drunk out my mind so I was relying on this other dude to tell me what engine to hoof to the chopper if I recall correctly. As you can imagine it was a total disaster.

Yeah, I've sat in the stairwell for 4 minutes because there were guards watching the upper and lower floor stairs.

For me, whenever someone called out HRTs or when Bain tells you that they are moving in, on lower difficulties it's just FBI Investigators or those grey-shirt veterans, on harder it's either them or greenies.
And while canaries are yellow, I think people confuse the fact that the taser probably had yellow shoulder pads because of the actual colour of a [url=http://www.northumbria.police.uk/Images/R%20Taser_tcm4-19191.jpg]standard issue police taser.[/url]
For me, canaries will always be hostages, no one will steal my pride. ;-;

Try getting a refund, I dunno the policy on it. But I'm sure if you explain to them that it won't launch (and you have 0 hours in game), they'd be happy to give you a refund (maybe)
