I wish we could take the bodies as loot, maybe sell the organs Edit: Maybe they're saving that feature for when we can customize our safehouses
I wish we could take the bodies as loot, maybe sell the organs
that would encourage people to kill civs which would be silly
that would encourage people to kill civs which would be silly
To be honest, he sounded like bagging guard bodies. I mean, all of them do have a gun, and those could be sold to the black market for some pocket change.
anything that uses offshore money is going to have to be ludicrously unrealistic in it's pricing
Yeah, otherwise I'd be able to buy a fighter jet as an escape vehicle.
I thought there was a very early video where bagged bodies thrown into dumpsters actually gave you $1000, but I guess they removed it for the reason that people will just kill everyone.
Yeah, otherwise I'd be able to buy a fighter jet as an escape vehicle.
the gang could probably afford to just roll up in tanks at this point
I thought there was a very early video where bagged bodies thrown into dumpsters actually gave you $1000, but I guess they removed it for the reason that people will just kill everyone.
Bodies were one thousand dollars, though the only reason I would bring them to the van is to get rid of them.
I love how some people would be considered in the top 150 countries by GDP with what they have in their offshore. But you can't do or get anything with it. Bain is like "yeah I know you have $2 Billion in your offshore, but if you want to pay $4,300 for extra helicopter fuel you have to tell me".
Oh look, almost finished but scrapped weapon attachments found by people fucking with lua stuff. [t]http://puu.sh/42xIG[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/42zwh[/t] "Cloakers were the only content we cut" my ass.
Wait, they're not bringing back cloakers?
Every game cuts content because it isn't balanced or flat out isn't finished. It's unreasonable to expect every odd and end that appears in the game files to end up playable in the final game. That said, if they end up as part of a paid DLC package later on, feel free to call them on their bullshit.

Like, per se, a Brenner 21?
Wait, they're not bringing back cloakers?
They are, but Almir claimed "they were the only content we cut during development because we couldn't get them working in time." They're going to add them back.
Every game cuts content because it isn't balanced or flat out isn't finished. I can see balance issues in them; so I won't argue with that at all. I'm just poking fun that Almir mentioned the game was 100% done and how they wanted sans Cloakers.
when did 6 guards on Framing Frame Day 1 become the norm?
Sometimes theres 1 in the bathroom, 4 patrolling, the lobby guy, and 1 in the camera room.

I wish there was ever a reason in the world to make your gun more compact. Lower visibility means jack diddly donkeysack when you're A. going hot instantly or B. not going to need weapons for stealth and C. don't need to slip by anything to get anywhere remotely difficult to reach, as though slipping by someone with maximum visibility is difficult in the first place.
larger magazines should increase your maximum amount of carried ammo too it seems silly that you carry the same amount of magazines but can't be bothered to fill the last one properly
larger magazines should increase your maximum amount of carried ammo too it seems silly that you carry the same amount of magazines but can't be bothered to fill the last one properly
It's actually fine to balance it by not doing that. Large mags should just butcher mobility, making your accuracy ass as you move around.
Yeah, concealability confuses the shit out of me. Why would I equip something that lowers my accuracy to improve concealablility... on my primary?
Yeah, concealability confuses the shit out of me. Even the tiniest pistol and sawed off won't let you go higher.
I was wondering that, the whole visibility thing is really backwards. I don't find that I'm spotted more or less, maybe with full armour I get suspicious a bit quicker... but if I'm getting caught, I'm getting caught.
I was wondering that, the whole visibility thing is really backwards. Big deal if you want to stealth; fucking worthless otherwise.
I don't find that I'm spotted more or less, maybe with full armour I get suspicious a bit quicker...
That's all it does Visibility works in thresholds, whether you are slightly into high visibility or all the way to max visibility it doesn't change anything I've never even managed to go under about halfway to medium visibility myself
Still it is plain dumb how distance doesn't affect visibility almost at all.
I don't even understand why heavy armour doesn't just max out visibility then. If you're going to Stealth, why does it matter what armour you have, if you fail, you're likely to just restart unless it's a pro job, instead of trying to fight. I mean, all of the heists with civilians are just smash and grabs, bar the Bank Job. In the other levels, it's pretty much just "Don't get seen at all", so concealability and visibility seem redundant entirely.
Visibility also affects how fast guards can spot you even if you have your mask on, it doesn't just work in casing mode, so lower visibility is still very handy in heists without civilians Still they need to rebalance the armor with faster regeneration/faster interacting with things/whatever the lighter your armor is
anything that uses offshore money is going to have to be ludicrously unrealistic in it's pricing
If the gang could spend the money in offshore they wouldn't need to heist anymore
If the gang could spend the money in offshore they wouldn't need to heist anymore
I think 50 millions usable cash is pretty good point to retire.
Visibility also affects how fast guards can spot you even if you have your mask on, it doesn't just work in casing mode, so lower visibility is still very handy in heists without civilians Still they need to rebalance the armor with faster regeneration/faster interacting with things/whatever the lighter your armor is
Armor also impacts your movement speed. So heavier armor makes you move slower. I typically wear just the suit unless its for a level I know will involve combat like Watchdogs or Firestarters Day 1. I can tear across most levels at a ridiculous speed. It also means that while sneaking around, I can get to cover faster than someone in heavy armor, meaning my bar doesn't go up very much even then.
