So This hacker I encountered was my unwanted Robin hood of Payday2.
This guy was host and had a trainer/CE Table, his name was "FeelFresh" (I think) And didn't tell us the whole time we were playing. We ran through basically everything but Big Oil (we avoided it at all costs). And we were making good time. He was a chill dude and all. during Frames I said something along the lines of "Man, I wish I could be high enough to have two ECM's" and he said, "Oh, you will, don't worry!"
Me thinking it was some form of encouragement to keep majoring in Ghost/MM shrugged it off pretty quickly. and we continued playing for a bit longer, and we beat Frames pretty efficiently, minus fucking up stealth on day 3.
i check the bottom where my stats are, because I Finally made it to level 39
And now I have 500,000,500 [B]SKILL POINTS[/B] and every single skill is [U]ACED[/U].
I said "Dude, What the fuck?!" and he disconnected immediately.
I've done everything I could think of to corrupt my cloud saves to completely reset my file and so far nothing is working. i even Tried SAM to see and it's still all the same.
Any idea what I could do? or just accept it, and just respec to where I was previously?
I'm at my wits end at this point :saddowns:

You can reset your stats in one of the ingame menus. Either do that, or respec to where you were and only use a skill point upon levelling up (if you're still level 39)?

You can either respec or you can look into resetting your values via lua to what they were previously.
I can't still understand why they keep bitching about people discovering some unused/hidden files from the beta and from the actual game. Everytime i think about this, just one thing come to my mind: "OH NO! They founded there's a unused logo for the box prop, what we gonna do?"...Uh, i don't see an-" "BAN THEM!" "GREAT IDEA!" If every unused file we see from other games got cases like this, i think nobody would try to mess around with the files
That's why before I make an encounter with a pub, I tab out and create a backup of my save.

im reinstalling now, along with disabling CloudSync for good measure. Lets hope these methods work

What are you even on about? You're trying to dig an argument to absurd levels and it just comes off as ridiculous.
We have numbers of heists promised and they're straight up not there. At all. We have content spoken about in game. That's not there.
Now, not going as far as suing, but they did lie. Straight up. And we have them on record doing it. Nothing you have said has added anything to this discussion even remotely. I would argue with you fairly if you weren't struggling to keep up with any point that isn't either an insult or an appeal to some bizarre logic.

Even though I was (finally) granted the option of a refund, I'm taking a leap of faith and sticking with OverKill. PayDay 1 was great, and even if Almir is acting like a child, I'll continue to enjoy PayDay 2 and pay for future DLC's.

We don't give a shit about your cryptic promises right now, we want you guys to tell us that you're aware of the problem and what you're planning to do to fix it. We should all send emails into Overkill asking for an official statement, and if they just say "we have big stuff coming ;)", then we know that they aren't taking it seriously

Try emailing any developer asking for a statement on something and you'll be lucky if you even get a reply.
