Longer reloads would be my preferred downside, as long as the mag increase is significant enough to offset a long reload.

Visibility isn't really much of one either. I can see the best option being mobility (the accuracy moving around) being nerfed due to how fucking heavy drum mags are.

can you move and reload at the same time I haven't played for a few days and I can't remember if so, drum mags could also require you to stay still and reload
What about a slower reload and they have a chance to jam (I remember reading drum mags are pretty unreliable?)

At that point having it at all becomes rather meaningless because you end up still having to reload before you get through the entire drum anyway.

It equates to random frustration and sometimes death/damage that you couldn't predict or prevent, and feels a lot like artificial difficulty. Kind of like spawning incapacitated on that one escape, which is beyond stupidity.

Last time, I saw a lvl 7 guy drop the gold material. Quite frustrating when you had to do all heists on overkill 145+ to get golden masks in Payday 1. Overkill should add unique masks/rewards only obtainable via difficult challenges and stuff. Just like the previous game.
