I think I know how to unfuck my save, a simple system restore
I think I know how to unfuck my save, a simple system restore
have you tried going to the save directory (steamfolder\userdata\*numbers*\218620\remote), right clicking save098.sav, going to properties and then "previous versions"?

Well uh this kind of happened from me trying to do a save switcheroo just like the first game which made payday 2 go apeshit. I attempted to follow a guide but deleted remote, and remotecache in the process. Yes I am a dumbass. But I do have the backup for what I assume is the save, but I think it's too late for that.

I'm sure I read somewhere on his twitter that the different suppressors/silences would have different damage values.

I roll a MP5A3 and it works great, just gotta land those headshots.

Where did the fire mode selector on your gun go?
Where did the fire mode selector on your gun go?
That stock removes it.
lol, never noticed that xD
Stock probably overrode it.
Stealthing all 3 days of Framing Frames is awesome and tense, especially if you get all 9 paintings.

stealthing lost it's charm to me when I can make one guard cuff itself and kill the others
stealthing lost it's charm to me when I can make one guard cuff itself and kill the others
It just makes stealthing easier, you aren't obligated to kill them or cuff them though if you really want it to be a challenge.
Something really fucking crazy happened to me and my crew on Framing Frame. On Day 2 the phone kept ringing while the guy was talking and day 3 we got the gold out and coke in, but we got made, so we got into the server room. Bain kept going on and on about livestreaming the event to news sites and the broadcast could be restarted even when the power was turned off.
One of the guys recorded it so it'll be up when he's finished editing
but why would you challenge yourself really
it'd be cool if there was an xp bonus for x amount of undisturbed guards and no destroyed cameras
Because if you want the challenge? If you're bored with how you can do stealth in the game, try it a different way?
Also, me and dark and kyle stealthed all 3 days of Framing Frames....guess who got a fucking cash card!
Where did the fire mode selector on your gun go?
There is no need to select fire modes, it's stuck on Rape mode.
So uhh, according to the bar things, the AUG when silenced has the same noise as my silenced Bernetti 9
Is that actually true?
it is true
and hilarious
I was questioning it because i lured a guard into the bathroom in FF Day 1 and shot him in the face and it alerted someone else nearby, which never happened to me with the Bernetti 9
But if its just coincidence, totally not going to be using pistols for stealth ever

I think the real question here is why the fuck you would silence your primary weapon
I think the real question here is why the fuck you would silence your primary weapon
Wow! Out of all the time i've been playing this game, I still never questioned the repercussions of silencing my primary! Thank you for setting me straight!
Because a silenced AR and the locomotive would be better than a silenced pistol/smg and the reinbeck. SMGs and pistols do shit damage when silenced.

Actually, why would you need a silenced gun at all, even if you're spotted at long distance, chances are you can still bum rush whatever guard saw you and melee them before they call for help
yeah my save's dead system restore did nothin
you're better off just using a silenced reinbeck or a silenced loco w/ a mosconi primary
I still prefer having the option of a longer-range weapon in the case I need it, my pistol has saved runs before but I'd like to have something with which I could still hold my own
Friend just gifted me Payday 2. What's the least played class?
well you don't pick any one class, you take skills from all of them and you have the ones you tagged, all the time.
as such there are a lot of hybrids, so no one class is neglected
Friend just gifted me Payday 2. What's the least played class?
I'd probably guess Ghost.
mosconi is pretty long range
So i've been told, but I want something silenced for long range, something high damage for loud short range (locomotive) and using melee for silent short range
[editline]29th August 2013[/editline]
Alright, guess I'll focus on ghost.
If you're just starting, I'd probably do something more for combat until you get more mods/skill points and know your way around the maps
Stealthing all 3 days of Framing Frames is awesome and tense, especially if you get all 9 paintings.
I almost made it stealth (as in, not killing guards or breaking cameras), but then when tossing a painting up it didn't go high enough and it fell back down and landed infront of a camera. Fuck...
Friend just gifted me Payday 2. What's the least played class?
ghost
Friend just gifted me Payday 2. What's the least played class?
I would say Technician followed by Ghost, at least in my experience.
Luckily in the long run, you can do both!
