In the second game, sometimes the cops have a line about "payday gang", plus Dallas says something like "that will teach them not to mess with the payday gang".
For a professional assassin, she sure sucks. Doesn't use the bipod on that heavy-as-fuck Barrett .50 Cal and yet she still aims fine, yet she manages to miss her two most important targets when she has clear shots on them.
Also no pager on the guard she murdered.

Wow, Bain is doing a fucking terrible job of hosting crime.net (if it's actually him hosting it, or is he just using it to find and set up jobs, idk) considering that they're showing up on the national news and leaked information about a massive bank heist.
Plus, why the fuck do people actually know that the Payday Gang exists? I thought the whole point of wearing masks was to avoid notoriety and stay on the down low. Considering the shit they've pulled (bank heists, meth cooking, gold truck tackles, stealing an entire room full of drugs and cash...) you'd think they'd try to avoid giving away any information about themselves, since they're probably more wanted than Osama was. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they were labeled terrorists now.

Pretty sure the cops know they exist. Especially considering they fight their way past cops on a regular basis. The point of masks is so that their identities are concealed. Can't exactly rob a bank and run away if every cop in existence saw your face. It also gives them a reputation as a a group. Uh, the point of wearing masks is to conceal someone's identity so that the police doesn't come knocking at your door and nobody will ever find you once you retire.

Yes I would, and I would make sure to bring tanks and the National Guard. It's like GTA IV, do the police just leave you alone once you hit six stars? Fuck no, they ramp shit up even further and 99/100 times they wipe you off the map. It's 4 people (and some support guys) versus the entire US Government, I think they'd want to keep the heat off

I get that, but concealing your identity doesn't do shit if the cops still know that you're the one who's committing all those crimes, because eventually you're going to fuck up and get caught/unmasked, and you're going to have to answer to all those crimes, whereas if you didn't link yourself to the "Payday Gang" you probably would get off much lighter

It's not really stealth as much as it is killing all the guards then running around doing the objectives, which is a pretty lazy way of doing stealth
