Well, sometimes it can get old, BUT THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING THAN shooting a cop with a Remington and send them flying away.

To be honest, I think I would have liked more work to go into the game if it meant not having a web series. It's good for adding backstory to the contracts, but some of the acting is just so bad. I'm pretty sure that guard would have lost his jobs many times over if that is how badly he failed to get Greta to leave. He just basically kept saying "Please go, please."

I hate when they are all hardass about it, like they have to prove that they're tougher than everyone else, etc. I also hate it when, on the opposite end of the spectrum, they're always flaunting it ("You just got owned by a GRL!!" etc)
I want more female characters that just act normal about it, Zoey from L4D comes to mind.

If you have friends to play with - it won't get old quick. Hell, it won't get old until level 100. Promise, I am playing this game only for fun with friends or some people that at least know what they are doing. Some people you might find in public games might fuck up your whole game for the lack of braincells.

iirc, someone here found a way to use the Facepunch logo as a decal on the masks. Its probably a hassle though.

It would save them time, because they aren't making terrible decals anymore. Also, if there's a problem with a mask, don't look at it or disconnect. Personally I only play with people who wouldn't do that sort of thing

Allowing people to upload their own decals would kill all the current mask customization, infamous items would be rendered useless along with any decals, materials and colors. The time they would save from not making decals is extremely minimal, seeing as they don't make them often and i'd imagine they don't take too long to make. My second point was that uploading decals to stop the use of "ugly" decals wouldn't work, because people would upload much bigger eyesores than anything currently in the game.

Not sure how that would render everything useless, masks would still be masks, materials would still work just as advertised. The only difference is you could put what you want on the masks. Using the excuse that someone may abuse a system set in place as a reason not to do something...
Anyways, it was just a passing thought, it won't happen for several reasons, one being the engine probably would implode on itself, and two they couldn't make money off it :v:

Nothing is going to be in "everyone"s favor. But considering items on the workshop have to appeal to the majority to get attention from Valve and therefore get put in, you are in the minority and therefore don't matter when it comes to implementing optional features.
Why not just have a contest?
