Mask stats are a bad idea overall. Masks are perfectly fine staying cosmetic considering there's plenty of weapon mods. I want to wear my favorite mask, but if I have a mega generic Skull Mask that gives me +30% speed or something, I'd be at a direct disadvantage if I wanted to use something else I prefer, which sucks.
Valve did the same thing with item sets in TF2 and the backlash was immense. It still took them years to remove the set bonuses though.

They don't [I]want[/I] you to do anything, that's why they encrypted the entire game and named the files in a way that it's impossible to keep track of.
Well considering some guys were able to find stuff pretty well (like the guys who changed all the civis in Nightclub to the meth cooks), and the modder guy who released the tools seemed pretty confident that we'd be able to mess with shit. I've found some misc weapon textures and a list of all the civilian animations so far, so we'll see where this goes
Edit: Found the .xml scripts for the robber and cop anims too, this could be interesting... if I actually knew where the anims where

Only OP shotgun is the Mosconi with it's sniper-tier accuracy and one-shot one-kill power. Ever since I got it, I've had zero reason to go back for the Izhma and Reinback. It also breaks with Bullet Storm, so I don't even need the Izhma for rapid fire.
I don't use the Mosconi so I couldn't care less what they do to it, I'm just saying they can't nerf the Locomotive. It's the Enforcer incarnate, they can't touch it without seriously hurting the Enforcer.

The Locomotive is the best secondary in the game, and is required for a saw using enforcer.
jesus christ, Overkill doesn't even need to obfuscate their files, since they already have weapon names like "wpn_fps_upg_ns_ass_smg_firepig".
If they're going to nerf Shotguns, they better damn improve the automatic weapons. I get that there is a whole ammo bag system, but Jesus Christ, you just [I]don't[/I] get enough ammo for the automatic weapons for them to be viable for me.
It's one of the major reasons why I love the hard hitting weapons, as when you shoot, your bullets are actually visibly doing damage, [B]and[/B] you can resupply quickly. Ammo conservation is better with the strongest weapons in the game and it confuses the hell out of me.

I really hope they don't nerf shotguns. I am doomguy-specced enforcer, and would be sorely upset if my glorious mosconi didn't kill everything on the map from any distance in 1 hit except for dozers. I've got sprint and shoot, next step is sprint and reload in the mastermind tree.
One thing I would like for them to change is to tweak the reload animation for the mosconi by making it uninterruptible (like hunting shotty in killing floor, for example.)
I've had several times where I reloaded the mosconi and I iron sighted the exact moment you close the gun, and it's just a SPLIT second after you close it that the gun is actually reloaded, and I hear a soft "click" as I get shot in the face repeatedly. Not to mention I feel terribly silly.

M14? What? You mean the M14 that has only 60 rounds and takes 2 hits to kill a Heavy FBI? The M14 that you can't use a scope on because the shit positioning makes it more difficult to aim with while blocking part of the screen?
Also pocketshot = locomotive. Fuck I hope they don't destroy it. I don't want my entire fucking class to be made 70% less useful because they nerfed the one weapon it was designed around.
M14 only has 40 rounds I thought (which is even worse), and what's wrong with the Deagle? It's outclassed by the Bronco in pretty much every way

Nerf Mosconi, buff Izhma and slightly reduce base accuracy on Loco.
Simple.
I'm okay if they nerf the Loco for everyone else, it probably needs it. But Enforcers need the current Loco. Without it, we simply can [I]not[/I] run with a Saw without becoming a [I]serious[/I] detriment to the team.
Personally i love how shotguns feel. It's like the first time shotguns are not useless because anything more than 5 meters from you barely gets hurt.

The only reason I can think is if you go down, you won't be able to attack because you'll have a Saw.
That's only an issue for idiots that don't allocate one point to getting the ability to use primary weapons when downed.
