On a lot of heists you just don't need anything for ranges beyond what the Mosconi can do, and you have a huge amount of CQC firepower on tap. Especially if you have the Enforcer perk for faster shotgun reloads, that is the icing on the Mosconi cake.

The anal retentive OMGINEEDTOMINMAX numbers are just a hindrance, with the exception of magazine & total ammo Edit : I should also note, showing us numbers with no relevance is why I dislike the number system. If its showing you have a recoil of 14, what's the max recoil? Is it 20? Is it 100? Without a frame of reference it's just confusing, whereas a bar being a quarter full would tell you about how much recoil it has compared to a bar that's entirely full. It's just a simple matter of ease of use and good UI design.

I have an AK.762 and AK5, both have the same amount of recoil because of the mods I have on them, yet the AK.762 kicks like a motherfucker, but with the AK5 I can pretty much go full auto without ever going off target.

I wish more guns were moddable to the extent of the CAR-4. Having one gun that can be modded to fit any situation kinda defeats the point of having large weapon variety

That's just a given, it -should- have an actual value. Just like the FOV slider. What I was getting at is that putting an arbitrary number up and giving no frame of reference is stupid, and all they did was clutter it all up, it's terrible design. From their concept picture, the total (white text) is at the beginning, common sense dictates it should be at the end, no one tallies from right to left. Giving us a random number and saying this gun has 5 damage means absolutely nothing, if they aren't giving us a frame of reference [I]like a bar would provide.[/I] They could of even put a number inside the bar for reference, at least then the amount of the bar filled would tell us more than just a number

However, base values are always nice. Especially when I know, say, 15 damage is enough to headshot HRT and 14 isn't. One easy solution is to have the bars in the selection screen (the 3x3 grids) and the numbers in the modification screen.

UNTIL DALLAS CRASHED THROUGH THE WINDOW AND SPOOKED EVERYONE.

Anyway, how is the Technician skill tree? I'm considering re-speccing out of Mastermind (Because I'm sick of how useless dominator/joker and the revive-allies-by-shouting skills are. Dominator rarely works and when it does, 90% of the time your teammates will just instantly shoot the dude before you can convert them. Revive by shouting is really glitchy, it seems to get over-ridden by shouting at cops or civilians so unless the person who's downed has no-one around them you won't be able to do it and sometimes it takes as many as five shouts to get them up, and with how long that takes you might as well just run up and revive them normally.) and Technician looks more interesting than Enforcer.

I've seen it while on the outside looking in.
