I'm not desperate for the game but I can (kind of) understand the hype. Anywho, I guess the next hype date would be Friday. Not to put Zakk in more pain or anything...

Then they can create a day one patch for any bugs or other stuff we discover and thus it is a beta.

I only didn't get the career criminal edition only because of that discount thingy, I don't really want to be buying advantages in this kind of game, makes me feel like I'm not going to get the most out of it.

I understand why people are getting upset though. Beta with notions of July. Seven days left in July. Game comes out next Month, probably around 10-20th. And worst of, tiny focus group from first game gets to play an actual beta. I feel people would be less colon clobbered if that "focus group" never existed. Not that mad myself. I hope CCE holders just get some other kind of reward if our "beta" ends up being something massively underwhelming.

I think the reason people are upset is that they promised a [I]BETA[/I], not early access. And there is a beta going on now, but oh you're not good enough to be in it. A closed-beta inaccessible to people promised a closed-beta.

And has a Stats Reset. That screams test all over it, but the release is within the next month, maybe weeks away. Why would you not have as many people (Who [B]paid[/B] for access) in the closed beta as possible. Those people are more likely to actually help break the game, considering they spent $20 more than the regular price.

Even if you get 1 or 2 days of this 'beta', they've still delivered. Sure it sucks you aren't in the beta they've been doing for some time now but they never said a time when you would be getting access, just that you will.

And you're getting a beta, just because it has a lot of polish doesn't mean it isn't a beta.

I do understand that, but I'm sure that one of the main points would be testing the game, it's the first thing advertised about the CCE.

I'm really tired of people bitching about "WERL ITS NOT A REEL BEETA!" Shut the hell up, you're getting a beta. You don't have to like it, but that is what it is. Honestly, go ahead and get a refund if you're going to be a pain in the ass about it, I'd rather not play with you if you're the kind of petulant annoyance to cry about this.
