I hope he implements some kind of transport vehicles, it gets really annoying to die and have to walk all the way back into the battlefield.
This game has huge potential, imagine this but with vehicles, classes and maybe some kind of build mode where you can lay down trenches and sandbags around your starting areas before the match starts, or maybe a building class.
I would pay if he had a light halftrack that looked like this

I love walking through the suburbs on the streets.
This game feels so fluid. The movement, the shooting, even the menus are really fluid.

Everything is smooth and sexy.
I'm kind of on the fence about vehicles. The game is called RUNNING with Rifles, and running to places helps me realize the scale of the world. But vehicles would add another aspect to the game. I just hope that if he does add something like a tank or a jeep, he balances it, and keeps the feel of the game.
i just wish the crosshair would turn red when the terrain is obstructing your firing line
otherwise, awesome fucking game.

I suggest posting ideas in the comments section of the game's blog. Pasi's almost always looking at the section, and it's the only place where he can receive ideas and feedback other than through email until the forum comes.

But Facepunch is too lazy! Why can't he be like lemmy and come to us?
Looks like a 3d, top-down, cell shaded Soldat. Awesome. Now it just needs Jetpacks and tunnels and buildings and shit.
I may be prone to viscous optimism, but this looks like it could be the best thing ever.

No it doesn't.

A huge map, some vehicles, maybe more weapon selection, and better ai and this would be an indie game I would shell out some cash for along with Zomboid.
Jesus, had loads of fun. I changed some names around, too. Me and Bill Nye just took over a base by ourselves.

In terms of gameplay it sort of feels a lot like it. Maybe it's a shit idea but vertical gameplay could be done (The jetpack suggestion wasn't serious, I'm talking about rooftops and under-ground passages), but I'm not sure if it'd be worth it for the work put in. It'd allow for more routes of attack is all, as well as offering more defensive opportunities.
I agree with Meller in any case. If bigger maps are made, vehicles would be nice if they're implemented well - Preferably only transport vehicles because I imagine a tank or something of the sort would be a bit of a game-breaker. A relatively diverse weapon selection is pretty much a must in any action game.
Basically this game in my eyes is (Or is at least very close to) a loveable mutant baby bastard child of GTA 1, Soldat and Battlefield. My only real gripes with it so far is the confusion as to what cover can be fired over and what can't, the lack of a HUD, limited directions of movement (In my opinion, it should be relative to direction of aim, but not centred on it) and slightly annoying aiming.

thats not a half track half tracks have wheels too silly
My biggest problem with this game is that the cover system feels clunky and it's hard to tell where hills are. Other than that it's a lot of fun.
Just took all the territories, loads of fun.
Woo! I finally won a map!
Final Score: 25
I am so good at video games.
God damn, it looks awesome.
The very first thing that I noticed is that you guys are calling it a "war sandbox shooter".
With that in mind, I really hope they include the ability to order your men to whip out their shovels and dig in! I want to be able to entrench my armies, construct sand-bag defenses, drag machine-guns and anti-tank guns into emplacements, that sort of magnificent insanity.

Thanks, gonna make identifying others at night a lot more easier.
I wonder if there is a way to edit the amount of people that spawn in the map. I want more men in the battlefield.
The view makes me think of the AC 130 view from CoD. I think that would be a fun little mini game :v:
I want first/third person aiming and a circular "line of sight" around the player that enemies have to be in to appear and shrinks during the night.
LoS shouldn't be circular, it should be a cone/triangle. We don't have eyes in the backs of our heads.
