Theres just something amazing about running around FFA servers dancing as a vanguard with a zweihander and dragging every attack.
Argh, I know I can't shut up for it but I'm weeping for the MaA with this new flinch.
The claymore is so fast that if you hit your opponent and then combo him it will hit him before his flinch time is over.
I love the double axe buff
Feints are not depth. Feints were completely broken so stop whining and learn to fight.
But the fact fighting is now a stamina war is a lack of depth. Currently MAA is completely irrelevant because its main ability, dodge, eats up too much stamina. Also I see you are one of the babbys that could not handle feints. Well congratulations, TB has updated the game in your favor, and now feints are so obvious that if you cant block them, just quit.

Well congratulations, TB has updated the game in your favor, and now feints are so obvious that if you cant block them, just quit.
I will believe that feints were not broken if you can give me a logical and demonstrable reason. And no, "i can't get past their defence without using it" is not a reason, because post-update, even with the flinch dragging me down, I haven't really noticed anything stopping me from getting past their blocks the same as always. Honestly I haven't found somebody who heavily relies on feints who isn't kind of a dick who insults people who dislike it as people who just can't handle it.
The funny thing is that I haven't seen a single feinter that I couldn't just beat very easily by returning the favor, and then these same guys say feints can easily be countered
It's the inherent broken nature of the old feints, there is literally no way to predict or counter them BEFORE they've already feinted and hit you at least once or screwed up and established themselves as feinters, and then if they're smart they'll realise that you think they're going to feint and just not feint, or don't feint on the next hit or two to lower your defences, and feint again. And the increased parry cooldown may or may not prove to affect the new feints as well. I can't call it, haven't fought enough feinters to judge yet.
And yet people still cry like babbies when you feint!
Which is hilarious. I mean, if you are blocking in the first .1-.2 seconds of a wind up (the only time you can feint now) you are plain shit. I use feints sparingly, as you should so they dont become obvious, but if a shitty player (see: you) cries "OMG feints u so bad" I spam them just to spite them. And then proceed to t-bag and boast about how I no-scoped them.
Lets put it this way. You can either feint and end the battle quickly or drag it on by making it a stamina war until one of you slips up.

I still feel bad about running the rookies through, though.. Poor guy is all bruised and bloodied, on the defensive.. Continually attempting to parry thin air when I so much as twitch my double-axe. Eventually I get the satisfaction of hitting (1. Respect) when they catch on and parry proper. :)
I've been trying to get back into this game for the past few days. Every game I have joined has been ENTIRELY one sided towards the masons. Is it always like this, or am I just really unlucky? It's literally been the Agatha team being steamrolled on maps where they have to defend, and not even able to do the first objective on maps where they're offense.

Combine this with your condescending attitude, and you're basically a nuisance. People want facts and proof to validate points. Come back with some.
I also noticed they haven't fixed the veteran helmet bug
i keep forgetting i cant combo feint to parry

argh i can't buy a second 4-pack :c
Am I the only one who thinks people who play MAA are solely just doing it to be assholes? Thats the vibe I get.
I play MaA and I do it because I have the most fun as him. I can't hit shit as an archer, knights are too slow and I don't like vanguard weapons.
Am I the only one here who uses the perspective you get after you hit P twice? I dunno it's super easy for me to cut heads and land hits that way
Am I the only one who thinks people who play MAA are solely just doing it to be assholes? Thats the vibe I get.
I get that vibe from people using the heavy crossbow who camp on the outskirts of the maps.
I get that vibe from feintguards I used to before they fixed the feinting, at least
Being an archer and getting feinted by a zweihander before this patch was a nightmare.
Don't know why everyone is hating this patch. 35+ players actually don't look retarded anymore with all this sprinting, feinting and dragging combined before the patch. Played about 5-6 hours as Vanguard and MaA. It definitely is more fun than before. The only problem I'm having more than before is animations not matching up. Had different Knights and Vanguards as enemy who hit me as soon as their animations for overheads started.
Scraped together to cash to buy this while it was on sale. While I may have asked this a month or so back when I was originally planned on buying it are there any relevant video guides I could check out so I don't get stomped during my first few games?
Well, you should refrain from duel servers and last team standing for the moment being. When I started playing this (2-3 months or so) I went with Team Deathmatch (which depend on the server...) and Team Objective servers and learnt the game the hard way. It shouldn't take more than 4-5 hours to get a good feeling. After that I would recommend to watch some videos like this one if you want to get more out of your game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llnRxtazljg
