The thing is, your enjoyment of the game is no more or less important than the enjoyment of everyone you're playing the game with. You have a responsibility to make their experience better, and they'll do the same.
By refusing to as a team, you're negating their enjoyment for your own; which makes you an asshole.

First of all never said I refused to be in a team. I made an obvious jest about blocking taking up valuable killing time which you then honed in on me on because out of all the crime, religious bigotry, hate, racism, homophobia, sexism, etc out there GOSH DAMN, wasting your time trying to tell someone on the internet that they aren't doing 'games' right is definitely worth it right? How dare Stallion have fun. Who is this guy? Who does he think he is? Does he think he's some kind of guy that can just have fun? The nerve!

Fun isn't something that just happens, especially not in team games. Try going into a MOBA with that attitude, and you'll quickly learn that the enjoyment of the team/game as a whole relies on each individual player being at least slightly considerate. Go for the objective, don't TK; if you're incapable of enjoying playing the game as it was intended you're playing the wrong game and are thusly preventing those who want to play the game properly from enjoying it.
Try thinking about those you're playing with for once. The world doesn't revolve around you.

MOBAs are bad communities, true, but they're bad because it's a game which relies on teamplay, in much the same way as Chivalry. Each player needs to think about the rest.

Stabbing a teammate because he went in between you and an enemy happens and little can be done about it, but there are so many retards that just mash LMB in crowds of teammates.
as far as im concerned the more enemies rushing at me the better chance I have of surviving, they're likely to just all lmb eachother in a desperate attempt to be the one to kill you. I've seen sooooo many 3v1s go sour because the larger group doesn't bother to block and end up hitting each other.
People say I hack when I'm the only one playing fair, I don't rely on stupid exploits and feinting and I still do fairly well. This community is pretty retarded sometimes. I forgot you're only pro when you mouse drag and run around swinging your sword like a psychopath.
