My style of fighting is to go at them until they fuck up, either because of no stamina or because they misclick.
So who else finds it incredibly satisfying to kick shield turtles out the window on that one tower duel map?
Kicking anybody out or off of anything is satisfying to me

Custom maps are possible already. Helms Deep is on the way.
i dislike people who grab the chance to kill you when you taunt
i usually give a bow or taunt before a fight, while they're being bad sports and just goes in to kill (i don't usually taunt unless they taunt as well)

I love owning the shit out of feint spammers, sometimes I make them mad by saying "cheap tricks will do you no good"
Feints rarely trick me more than once. Unless the person is really good at doing those overhead-look downs to make a super fast hit come out, if I think someone might feint I just wait a bit longer before blocking. Or just attack. Or switch to a shield.
I've noticed I win quite a few fights just by ever so slightly breaking the rhythm of a back and forth. It's usually an accident, but I won't attack straight away, maybe because of stamina issues and the other person blocks straight away and I end up getting a free combo because they try to block between hits.

ffa duel servers were duel servers before dueling mode.
please don't shit them up. they're much more fun than actual dueling servers.

I was playing for an hour with the same group of people on a free for all dueling server, but as soon as one guy joined and started random attacking and raised a votekick against me, all of them voted against me. This game could really use some kind of mod that makes you unable to damage anyone except when you both use the C emote at each other.

This game could use ALOT of things. Like no long range classes in duel so assfucks can't come in and be assholes.

trying to take on an archer with heavy javelin is annoying. the heavy jav stab does a ton of damage now.

The Promod duel mod have that, you need to bow to ask/accept a duel. You can't damage anyone unless you're in a duel, the mod is on the beta but you need to install promod first.
Oh and promod have reverted all the changes they did in the last patch back to way it was before it so it's very different from the current version of Chivalry.

Sometimes I'm able to take them out, but it's the fact that they're doing it in the first place. Archers would be ok if we could see who we're fighting ahead of time so we can at least prepare or something.

At least when fighting a crossbow or archer using Vanguard, if they keep their main weapon out to shoot you and miss, it's a free charge kill because they can't switch weapons fast enough. Javelins though, they miss, they still get to block anyway.
vanguards can pretty much one-hit kill archers with the charge attack
