Grand Mace or nothing.
Lately I've been having alot of trouble getting the game to start. A few weeks ago it would just crash on start up and give me the "UDK.exe (or something) has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Now it just doesnt even do anything, my name in steam friends goes green for like 2 seconds and back to blue. I verified, and that doesnt work, the only thing that works is to reinstall it, then i just goes back after playing like twice

the norse sword is pretty much stronger, quicker and has longer reach

This is wonderful.
Oh god, it's like Skeletor is teaching me how to play Chivalry. I love it.

I know, but just the fact that I'm beating the shit out of someone with a stick is hilarious to me. I love it.

I used to love this game, but it seems like with every update that came out, the game just got glitchier and glitchier.
back in early beta combat felt fluent, now it seems like every hit I block or parry hits me anyway and every swing I miss hits them anyway.

not to mention that the game has been filled with exploiters
and the devs cant balance weapons for shit
the zweihander is a slow moving, high damage sword that takes skill but is awesome if you're good with it? bump the damage up even MORE
the holy water sprinkler is a quick, small one-hander that it used to quickly barrage enemies with hits? make it a stabbing weapon.
Yeah, what's the track record for Torn Banner's balancing act? Only thing I know is that the zweihander got its stab attack sped up.
Also, they seriously buffed its damage? Every time I go on a killing spree with it, I think to myself "SKILLLLLLLLLZ" but I guess since that's on the record, it would be kinda considered an OP weapon.
Oh well, it was fun thinking that I was pretty good at the game. :\
I feel like they nerfed shields hard.
I usually use them as backup for players using faster weapons, but that doesn't change shit.
Shields are a crutch against good players.
Feinting is a crutch against all players.
fixed
The Tower shields have their use in scrims because a knight can just deploy it and draw attacks while a vanguard can use him as cover while stabbing everyone with a spear.
But really using a shield just gets you kicked down or worse yet people will just circle around it and beat you to death.
Look how good I am at the game guys!
I walk around in FFA with a Zweihander mashing lmb and feint every other attack!
Feinting seriously is a crutch, and I see it mostly used by like, rank 30+ people
I much prefer using delayed swings and odd angles over feinting. I don't like leaving things to luck.
I prefer just smacking on my opponent until they run out of stamina, whereupon I kick them and murder their face.
I speed or slow my strikes, kick, etc. But not feinting. Fuck feinting in the ass with a peasant's pitchfork.
I prefer just smacking on my opponent until they run out of stamina, whereupon I kick them and murder their face.
In continuation of this, I'm tempted to make a gameplay video showing just how unnecessary all this flashy shite really is.

Please do
I hate how feinting is pretty much a free hit. It's fuckin stupid.
I seriously forget feint exists most of the time because I have literally never seen anyone use it in team objective.

What the hell? A ghost knight?
How can I do that
What the hell? A ghost knight?

You summon your ghost knight by running a lap around the map of your choice, crouching 3 times, and then pressing F10.
I hold no liability for any deaths that may occur using your ghost knight.
You go to this grave site next to a beach in the hillside map as a mason.
If you see a shining light you can summon a mason ghost by fighting an agathian near the grave.

It actually doesn't matter which team you are. Agathian or Mason, he still comes out of his grave. If you just do it right to summon the skeleton.
