idk, deadliest warrior has a superior damage model to MW where the connection of your hit actually matters (less damage for the start and end of blows), which balances out pirate bullshit for me
Still, it takes out a lot of the features that make the game deep
A better damage model isn't going to fix all that shit they did to the game.

Im stuck at level 5, I can't get any new weapons or reach a new rank. If I do unlock something it's gone by the time the server changes map. Is this one of TornBanners mistakes that are yet to be patched or can I do something on my end to fix it?

I Wonder how this glitch occurs, I haven't had any issues gaining ranks and weapons.
It only affected people who bought the game after two(?) patches ago, anyone before that can level up and unlock weapons.

lots of 'hate', even though we have and continue to play it for hundreds of hours
yeah there's plenty to get up in arms about - generally what we think they could've and/or should've done with the game - but it doesn't change the fact that the game was (and for many, still is) interesting and/or entertaining enough to keep us coming back

So! Chivalry Deadliest Warrior had an update! Fixed things here and there and some improvements. So i guessed i should try playing the game again to see what's new.
I was really good at the: Teggo Kaggi (ninja claws) back then but sadly, they are [b]BROKEN[/b]!
Totally broken...you can't hit any opponent with it. Don't even try fists! Same problem there!

Uhhh they just released a patch like 2 days ago revising the parry system? Theyre next working on the collision bubbles to be smaller so you can lean back and juke stabs from maa who dodge back. It is slow work but it is getting done.
This game is really nice with 120hz + lightboost. Looks like slow motion compared to 60hz.
I bought a kickass computer and now i can play this game with every options maxed out. But i kinda think it suffers from the BF3 syndrom where the maximum settings are the worst settings. So, what settings do you guys recommend to me?
I have everything on high except for these: SSAO, Ambient occlusion, Dynamic lighting, v-sync, bloom, light rays.
It looks good but runs nicely.

BThe no recovery parry and combo feint to parry were already patched in as well as higher stam cost for maa dodge and reduced 2h flinch time. Also in the next patch bubbles are being shrunk down a huge amount.

Custom maps are great, and so are the custom modes. Black Knight is hilarious and Giant Slayers is a ton of fun, particularly when you're slapping tiny people around the map while they're trying to swarm you.

Well after all these updates I think I'ma start playing this again.
Oh and they finally polished the god awfull 1st person animations, still have clipping on them, but it's a start.
Black knight mod is master race.
Either they increased the range of the quarterstaff or I got a lot better at judging range with the new animations and FOV because I'm starting to get a lot more accurate with it and I rarely misjudge my swing's reach now.

I'd say it's probably a mix of the new animations and the bubble reduction. The first person animations actually represent what you're actually doing pretty well now and you can get a bit closer to enemies, which makes short weapons like the quarterstaff easier to use. Also, the hunting knife is no longer impossible to get a good hit in with.
In game my character keeps walking to the left. Only happens in this game. Anyone know whats wrong?

Do you have any gamepads or joysticks plugged in? I've never been stuck walking left but one time I forgot I had my joystick in and I was constantly spinning and looking down because the stick wasn't centred.

and it's completely ridiculous that each dlc bundle is $8. You get like, three skins in each and the Agatha knight's textures don't even look good.
