gg warlock wins forever.
I don't if its just me but this card looks really good but I doubt (and hope) its too slow for it to do anything, because you waste 8 mana to get a free card but you might as well play the card because its probably <8mana
I like that there's Jaraxxus behind Wilfred in his card art
Sounds like it would be super OP in something like Malylock, if you happen to draw malygos with that, then you probably have 10 leftover mana to just burst down your opponent with soulfires and darkbombs.
It could be potentially great in handlock. Chance of a free Jaraxxus makes him probably worth a slot in the deck.

You'd have 8, and I don't think Malygos would work in Warlock very well. You got those 4 cards (which is 32 damage, but still 4 cards and you need to not discard one soulfire with the other), hellfire and that's it I think for damaging spells. That's assuming you draw Malygos with that card.
If that card would see play, it would be in very high curve decks that would almost always benefit massively from the cost reduction.
Think you can only afford to play it at 8 mana or more so you can tap at the same turn. The body is too weak for it to survive a turn.
I can't see what a Handlock would swap out for it, I'm afraid it's more of a fun card than an actual serious competitive card but we'll see.
So I got into Arena today and managed to get a Priest.

So my I'm 1-1 for my first two games, taking a break for now.

So lets run a quick hypothetical.
Turn 7 you drop a Floating watcher and use hero power, turn 8 you plop down Wilfred Fizzlebang and use hero power.
Best case scenario, you now have an 8/something watcher, a Wilfred on the board and maybe even a 0 mana mal'ganis.
Oh and imagine this.
You play this [t]http://media.blizzard.com/hearthstone/images/the-grand-tournament/cards/maiden-of-the-lake/en-gb-full.png[/t]
then you faceless/slyvanas this [t]http://media.blizzard.com/hearthstone/images/the-grand-tournament/cards/coldarra-drake/en-gb-full.png[/t]
and somehow they live till next turn and you drop wilfred... 4 free cards yes yes thank you very much!
does this mean warlock is now the best hero for the 30 legendary deck
That beefier lightwarden looks nice, might see some play in constructed, right after Dark Cultist for absolute pain in the ass. Probably secures Priest's dominance in arena.
The weapon is okay in arena and that's it. 3/2 for 3 mana with some chance to be 3/3 and 3/4 only once in a blue moon is not good enough for any of the popular warrior decks.
And Wilfred is a bit below Emperor's tier, you let him live and you are dead, but he basically costs 8 mana (7 with Maiden) and the draw might not be worth it. Absolute bullshit in arena tho.

What the fuck
[editline]24th July 2015[/editline]
Oh wait the stats are pretty bad
You know what I'm wondering? What happened to this?

It's been a lil' less than 2 days since the voting thing happened and they still haven't revealed the right card...
It was a mismanagement at TGT's side. It will be revealed tommorow.
I really don't bother complaining about Blizzard anymore but is it just me or are the brawls getting lazier each time?
First one had unique cards and heroes, second one was aggro city with some bananas, third one was expected webspinner RNG, fourth one was fairly inventive, fifth one was just a random deck, and this one is just max mana where legendaries = win.
Wouldn't it have made much more sense and taken less effort in the long run to just implement Tavern Brawl as a free-for-all, no deck restrictions mode? They could have added a few modifiers you could use also, like the banana stuff or summoner challenge. A lot more replayability and no two day downtime waiting for the next brawl to come out also.
I will say this card update is looking pretty impressive so far, though.
Welp, after a bullshit match with a mage I'm now one loss to my 1 win key.
Wooo.
It could be potentially great in handlock. Chance of a free Jaraxxus makes him probably worth a slot in the deck.
Dude whats this about potential that legend is auto include in anything that isn't heavy aggro
It is like thaurissan except you don't need to have a full hand to take full advantage of it and can potentially get much more value than tharrusan if you draw late game minions/spells. And you can repeat it multiple times with some of the new cards coming out.
Dude whats this about potential that legend is auto include in anything that isn't heavy aggro.
You're playing handlock, you're at 12 health, you put down Fizzlebang and then tap, you draw a Molten Giant.
I said potentially because it is still based hugely on RNG, while Thaurissan isn't.

Right afterwards getting a dumb rogue who wasted their oil, and getting 2-2.
Still on the brink of loosing my $1.99 but still this is a refresher.

Well there goes my theory. Still, having one Pirate out and being able to play it for 6 mana is pretty good value, but I'm confused why they decided to word it as if it counts itself, friendly Pirates on the battlefield, and friendly Pirates in hand...
Here's hoping the answer isn't "Because it'd be too much card text" when we already have cards like Alarm-o-Bot, Ancestral Spirit, Ancient Brewmaster, Arcane Nullifier X-21, Avenge, Bane of Doom, Blood Knight, Bolvar Fordragon, Bouncing Blade, Cenarius, Commanding Shout, Cone of Cold, Crush, Dark Wispers, Deathlord, Demonfire, Demonheart, Dr. Boom, Dragon's Breath, Duplicate, Effigy, Elite Tauren Chieftain, Enhance-o Mechano, Eye for an Eye, Fel Reaver, Force of Nature, Freezing Trap, Goblin Blastmage, Grim Patron, Grove Tender, Harrison Jones, Headcrack, Holy Nova, Ice Block, Ice Lance, Illuminator, Imp-losion, Iron Juggernaut, Jeeves, Kel'Thuzad, Light of the Naaru, Lightwell, Lil' Exorcist, Lorewalker Cho, Mal'ganis, Mech-Bear-Cat, Mimiron's Head, Mind Control Tech, Mind Vision, Mindgames, Mirror Entity, Misdirection, Mistress of Pain, Nefarian, Noble Sacrifice, Onyxia, Power Overwhelming, Ragnaros the Firelord, Recombobulator, Redemption, Repentance, Revenge, Sabotage, Shadow Madness, Shadowflame, Shadowform, Sludge Belcher, Snake Trap, Snipe, Spellbender, Stampeding Kodo, Sword of Justice, Thoughtsteal, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil, Tinkertown Technician, Tinkmaster Overspark, Tracking, Trade Prince Gallywix, Troggzor the Earthinator, Upgrade!, Void Terror, Warsong Commander, Young Priestess, and Youthful Brewmaster.
Yes, I've checked for and listed every single card that has 4 lines of text just to show how much bullshit that answer would've been. Granted, probably half of the cards are due to weird spacing that could've easily been 3 lines, but then why'd they space it like that anyway?
Edit: Just in case they use Rarities as an excuse.
Edit 2: Even decided to check if extending the text a bit would actually fit, and it does:

I focus too much on little details. :v:
And so my Arena run is over.

Results here if you're interested, on the plus side I'm close to having enough gold for a second go.
It's meh value. 5 mana and less is the true value you are searching for, 6 is just too much for a 4/6 with charrrrge!

They probably just haven't finalized the exact text on all the cards yet.
I can't remember if that's ever happened in the past expansions or adventures - a card getting changed between its reveal and release.
I can't remember if that's ever happened in the past expansions or adventures - a card getting changed between its reveal and release.
I think some cards had "random" added to their card text after reveal, don't remember which though.

Wasn't it after people were complaining about how some card texts didn't have "random" in them (namely the Deathrattles)?

I think it just slipped by QA because it made sense at the time, it's being just text I can assume they will change it for clarification at some point.
"Gain +2 Attack whenever a character is healed."
Did they seriously miss the chance to call this card Mediumwarden? :v:

Well I mean as long as the card description involves Heavywarden, it should be fine!

My first thoughts when I saw it was "What deh fuck?"
It just feels so unusual seeing a 9-mana Common card. Hell, I don't even see where this card would fit in. Only deck I could think of is a budget Control Warrior where you have some essential cards but don't have stuff like a Ysera.
I just...whuh? I mean it seems like a decently-efficient card; you take a Boulderfist Ogre, slap on the Shadow Bolt effect (mana cost and damage, and the ability to hit face) with a bonus +3 Attack (but being able to get BGH'd). The card just confuses me despite how simple it is.
