My first thoughts when I saw it was "What deh fuck?"
It just feels so unusual seeing a 9-mana Common card. Hell, I don't even see where this card would fit in. Only deck I could think of is a budget Control Warrior where you have some essential cards but don't have stuff like a Ysera.
I just...whuh? I mean it seems like a decently-efficient card; You take a Boulderfist Ogre, slap on the Shadow Bolt effect (mana cost and damage, and the ability to hit face) with a bonus +3 Attack (but being able to get BGH'd). The card just confuses me despite how simple it is.
yeah it's basically "placeholder before you craft your legendaries", the card
A strictly better Majordomo.
It's not even a dragon...
There's literally no synergy with this card whatsoever.

Hey don't dis majordomo in certain deck types he kind of is awesome
Also might get actually insane in mage w/ ice block and all the hero power stuff as a win condition your opponent can't ever stop.
North Sea Kraken should be a Beast, they're classified as one in WoW.

Man, imagine getting that from a Webspinner. :v:
Unboxed a Leeory today; he's not exactly viable ever since the nerf tho, correct?

He's still sometimes used in face hunter. He's not that bad, just he was nerfed alongside other nerfs to the main deck he was used in.

Still somewhat viable just no longer deck defining like he used to be, and decks that would really benefit from him aren't that good anymore.
I'd still keep him though. He's still one of the best sources of minion based burst damage for fun decks/win conditions that could possibly come up in the future.

I like it. A nice big target with a good battlecry.
It will be popular in arena.
I like that there's Jaraxxus behind Wilfred in his card art
Just like in golden Summoning Portal art, there's a Jaraxxus inside of it.
yeah it's basically "placeholder before you craft your legendaries", the card
I'm pretty happy about this card. There's really a lack of decent late game minions that aren't legendary/epic, and that sucks for new players.

A little bit bland considering it's just a big pile of stats with a good battlecry. Top tier arena late game card, will probably never see much play in constructed outside of budget decks. Shouldn't this thing be classified as a beast as well?
Also Wilfred Fizzlebang is neat in a combo centric Warlock but the main problem is that he directly contests the spot Thaurissan sits in and does essentially the same job with a lot more variance and a higher chance of whiffing. Gotta wait to see more of that synergy though.

And so I begin again!
Wish me luck guys.

and it's over.

3-3, forgot about that card that turns healing into damage and smashed into a zombie with my true silver.
No extra coins to get close to arena again until next week.
But I did get some of those trolly looking cards I've seen on and off I think.

well shit
So I managed to get one more into Arena, and had the choice of Warrior, Warlock, and Hunter, I checked the internet and went for hunter, hoping for the best since someone said they got really high with it.
Fucking 1-3 horseshit with all three ALMOST dead, and getting fucking lucky at the very last moment.
For The last one it was uther buffing a Rocketeer with two Blessing of Kings for 16 damage.
So all in all I'm fucking white hot pissed as hell at any multiplayer games and I want a hug.
[editline]24th July 2015[/editline]
Not even decent cards in the pack I got, and only 30 dust.

wow so shamans can get more fire elementals in arena now
The 10 mana tavern brawl is the most fun when using summoning portal tempo with a ton of value 5 drops like the 3/3 that does 4 damage and the blue dragon.

Ratsmah and Kripparian are two good players to learn arena from. They typically stream fairly late, but are almost always consistent with their times. Trump used to be a great resource for arena play but unfortunately he's become almost entirely dedicated to constructed. He still typically uploads his sparse arena runs onto his YouTube channel under the 'Trump Cards' series.
As suggested HearthArena is a fantastic resource site, but arena is a fickle beast for new players and a good deck can only carry you so far. Don't be discouraged if you consistently go 3-3 for the first while. You're really just earning back the extra 50 gold you paid for the pack.
Dude I'm ok with 3-3. 3-3 is something.
1-3 is just distressing :v:.
But yeah just give me two quests and some casual wins and I'll give it another go.
Also if I ever get Warlock, Warrior, and Hunter, what's the best pick?

Warlock. Hunter is very strong but requires good drafting. Warrior is really bad because they rely almost entirely on weapons to clear minions which can get shutdown by a bad draft or the arena god class, Mage.
Warlock has good AoE options, a good hero power for card advantage and a smattering of good minions and removal.
warrior is garbage
personally I would pick warlock
I don't really like playing hunter in arena

Warlock. Also just give Arena a break every once in a while, you'll only ever get GvG packs and there's not much of too much value in them for new players except for Dr. Boom.
Well Boom and cards for Mech Mage(?).
And yeah I might, but then again I only need two quests and some wins in casual to go again. But I think a break would be nice.
Also this thread was right about Priest and Paladin, they were good classes for me.
Def gonna avoid the Warrior, and Hunter is just meh to me.
Def gonna go Mage if I can next time.
It's not wrong to keep playing and getting GvG packs because as of now we have no idea what card synergies will exist from the expansions. We're definitely getting more mechs with the clockwork knights, so mech deck aggro could come back for classes (not just Mage).
I find that the trick to win arena games is to take breaks between games of a run.
Play a game, if it didn't go so well, do something else for a little bit, then go back to the arena a while later and you'll generally be a bit more refreshed.
Rushing to do as many games within a quick time frame can make you irrational and salty.
I've been nursing this 6 win arena for the past week, just periodically playing the games at a nice relaxed pace.

I usually do an entire arena run in one go, otherwise I forget how to play the deck/what cards are in it.
[editline]25th July 2015[/editline]
also cause I usually do arena to complete dailies (not as often now that we have tavern brawl though)
boo

congrats
Hey, hey, look at the hand, it's control hunter not scum hunter.
