Wait a minute, I do see something that Warlocks could potentially use. Brann Bronzebeard + Dark Peddler for cheap board flooding material and if Brann is still alive use Reliquary Seeker and give it +8/+8?
Blizzard has added so many cards that have absolutely nothing to do with the class. The new paladin card does not fit whatsoever, Murloc Knight was just kind of a funny thing but they are seriously pushing Murloc but into Paladin for some reason. Almost all of the theme is gone so can they finally just buff Van Cleef to be a pirate. Last time I mentioned it in the thread people threw a hissyfit that it didn't fit the lore.
I hope you guys are excited for 4/19 Twilight Drakes once Bran hits Handlock because I know I certainly am. Mounted Raptor is pretty cool too since it's a better Harvest Golem. I wonder if it'll make that 4/4 give a beast +4 card Druids have playable. Murloc Knight really feels unfair in arena, in a way that most other 'unfair' cards don't. It demands immediate removal, and if you don't have it... well... bye.
The thought of double duty on my maidens of steel makes me hot. Drawing that legend early looks like a lot of fun in controlling decks.

Disguised toast uploaded a video of one of one of the bosses. I like the idea that the boss is more of a random choose your own adventure thing, wish it was more developed though.
Brann should've been 2/3, that effect is too strong to demand a good body. I like Reno Jackson. Actually, it's an interesting concept of a legendary card, sadly it's probably never going to see play. Rafaam is.. well.. I guess it's atleast playable, each artifact is somewhat useful for 10 Mana so I am feeling it's an okay-tier card because it's a 7/8 for 9 mana that doesn't do anything on turn played. Definietly goes into Ethereal Mage. Naga Sea Witch u wot m8? Well interesting but.. this might be too strong or too weak. Djinni of Zephyrs is actually very interesting and may be a fit for Buffadin (oh god please no). Summoning Stone is activate Tavern Brawl mode, will probably never survive the turn its played so it NEEDS to be comboe'd with a spell. Ancient Shade just feels weak. I don't like taking 7 damage for getting a 7/4 one turn earlier, this card is useless against Aggro and not good enough for control. Eerie Statue however, is a turn 4 7/7 and now that is something. If left alone, it can trade very well but it suffers from the fact that you will not want to develop your board further. At this point I cannot tell if a 7/7 is sufficent enough. Wobbling Runts just feels like one of those weak minions that are made to punish you for destroying it. Luckily it's no Highmane, and that's why it doesn't look strong. I just cannot find any use for this other than baiting Silence/AoE. Anubisath Guy actually feels interesting. It has a stronger Deathrattle than Dark Cultist, but weaker body than Dark Cultist, the only card that we can currently compare this to. It might see some play in buff decks, shall they ever become a reality. Freeze Mage got buffed alot with Animated Armor and Torch. Blizz actually introduced some anti-aggro stuff such as Obsidian Destroy and made it properly arena-tiered. However Rogues got extremely strong arena cards, wich pushes them even closer to Paladin tier. Paladin has recieved only a secret. Other cards are worthless, but atleast we can have our own Uldaman statues. Priest got pretty much shafted with trash, maybe museum Curator could be a bit useful but I don't see the other cards working. Hunter has no secret, and two fine? cards. Moonkin needs to be comboed and is suicide against other spell-based deck. Definietly an interesting card, but it makes me feel sad for Arcanotron. Mounted raptor is another sticky Beast, so blizz def. wants Beast Druid to be a thing. Raven Idol is "maybe get a card that helps you". In case of Shaman, Tunnel Trogg and maybe Everyfin is Awesome if you are running Bloodlust Murloc Shaman. End of discussion. Warlocks got shafted, again. Warriors got actually two good Arena cards (Obsidian Destroyer, yay for WCIII and Monkey) and two good Constructed cards (Sword and Monkey). I'm happy for them. I see where they are going with Rogue. They obviously want to put more minions into current rogue decks, but I'm not sure wheter that will suceeed. EDIT: I like Uldum and Uldamar are getting attention. Both are created by Titans, but the first wing (Temple of Osiris is a raid in Uldum) is basically "fight against Al'Akir's minions". While the second one is "kill Titanic watchers".
You could propably do some really wacky combos with Brann Bronzebeard. +2/+2 from Mistcaller, even less viable but oh so satisfying. +16 health from Antique Healbot. A really clunky way to remove two Giants. +2 mana crystals from Darnassus Aspirant. +4 damage from Abusive Sergeant. (Help!) 2/5 Twilight Whelps. Fire Elementals & Blackrock Corruptors casting Fireball. Varian Wrynn drawing 6 cards. Dr Balanced potentially dealing 16 damage thanks to deathrattles. Add 8 random Murlocs to your hand, Overload: (3) Destroy Lord Jaraxxus and replace him with Lord Jaraxxus. I'm still hyped.
Calling it now, this bad boy is the 5-drop to complete the Secret Paladin's curve of doom.
Would be cool in a priest deck Just silence it
People might dig up some Wailing Soul Druid lists as well.
So...Sir Finley Mrrgglton is basically a playable Sideshow Spelleater for late-ish game non-Oil Rogue.

Awh, my sister bought me the Explorers expansion as a birthday gift. What a sweety. That's one way to keep up with the meta! I hope this expansion shakes things up.

The value!
I do wonder what type of deck this was design for. Seeing how much you need to cycle through your deck and how many bad legendaries there are... maybe it's something like Mill Rogue where you Coldlight like crazy and then get a full deck whereas your opponent's left with almost nothing? Tho I don't think Mill's weakness was running out of cards themselves. I guess they could be more aggressive with that now that Reno Jackon can heal you to full, but I Coldlight alone is probably not enough symmetrical draw to make that work.

Mill is too dangerous, you might accidentally burn the Golden Monkey.
It (eerie statue) is a good card without any combos, its not difficult to get it to attack if you play it on 4. And if you're so far ahead that you can't trade away your board to attack with it then you don't really need it. On its own its not good enough for constructed because its not better than shredder, but I think its gonna be great in arena.
It says "only minion on the battlefield" though, not "only friendly minion".
Someone on reddit mentioned this but I'm not sure if it's true, but I wonder if Brann is a joust buff? I wonder how that works.
You joust twice, giving you two glances at that one Zombie Chow hiding in your deck.
You joust twice, giving you two glances at that one Zombie Chow hiding in your deck.
Speaking of reddit, a lot of people there are poking quite a bit of fun at jousts. Do you guys feel the same, do you want that mechanic to not get expanded on?
I assume it does. A way to test it would be with the skeleton knight and Baron Rivendare. If the skeleton knights deathrattle triggers twice when Baron Rivendare is in play then Brann should work with battlecry jousts (I think the skeleton knights joust would have to fail the first time for it to trigger twice). [editline]7th November 2015[/editline] Jousts are underpowered. The cards are awful if you lose the joust and when you win them the card is only slightly better than what you can expect for cards of the same mana cost. And they are very inconsistent even in a deck built around jousts so you can't rely on them at all.
For example, Master Jouster should have taunt by default and the joust should be for divine shield. It might actually see play if they ever do that.
In my opinion, Joust should've just been 'Reveal the minion with the highest cost in both players deck.' Rewards having a higher mana curve than your opponent, more consistent, makes it okay to actually draw your more expensive minions. Also, you won't lose Joust thanks to a Highmane or Mysterious Challenger while playing decks like Handlock or Control Warrior.
TBH joust would only ever work if it always revealed a specific card like the top card and you had some way arrange cards in your deck but since blizzard frowns at anything deeper than a puddle cardwise it will never happen.
[t]http://media-hearth.cursecdn.com/avatars/270/993/635824333851137297.png[/t] This is a strong contender for the most gimicky card of the set. The point of the card is that you play it vs an aggro deck, and then they might draw this card which doesn't fit their archetype. The issue is that priest wins through board presence, and if your opponent gets this card while you start getting board control it will absolutely destroy you. I think its supposed to go in to some kind of burn/shadow priest that doesn't win through board presence.
Excevated Evil is actually really, really interesting to me because this is the first card that directly denies draws. Giving them a 3 damage AoE is shitty yeah but unlike most of the other parasite cards like Burrowing Mine and Ambush drawing this doesn't cycle so you could potentially miss a key combo piece or a big draw by drawing this. Going off of Dragon Priest now the vast majority of Priest minions have more than 3 HP so this card doesn't typically do much aside from set up another possible sweeper if your opponent uses it against you. [editline]7th November 2015[/editline]
Oh I completely missed that, in that case its just a less playable ancient watcher. [editline]7th November 2015[/editline] I thought it was like a venture co merc on steroids
Watcher Druid 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Excavated Evil can be only really good against Aggro. Control and Combo decks will easily appreciate more removal, and the card won't be as dead when playing against a deck that relies/uses removal to high extent.
[t]http://media-hearth.cursecdn.com/avatars/271/31/635824369956776297.png[/t] Y-y-you gotta be kiddin' me!
Honestly I really only see this card used in Handlock. And maybe a gimmicky silence deck.
