Wait - can you guys do the brawl? Mine says 1 day left over the button
Worked for me earlier, now I get the same thing. Seems like they maybe took it down due to all the technical issues.

I guess we should prepare for another spider brawl.
They confirmed on Twitter that there will probably be not a spider brawl.
Also on the same twitter they confirmed that they expect it to take only hours.
I've come across two rogues now who have tried using this strategy and I don't know why, it doesn't work very well

Am I missing something? It's pretty clear if a Rogue is making that play they are playing a mill deck, and trying to make you draw all your cards as fast as possible so that you can perish from fatigue.

Oh, right, I see - heard the term 'mill deck' before but wasn't too sure what it meant
Are they that effective? Seems kind of a risky thing imo
A Mill Rogue will be effective only if a Mill Rogue player is effective.

They don't work that well unless you're a bad warlock like me.
they work best against control decks but rely heavily on certain draws
for example, if you don't ever draw one of your two coldlight oracles, you'll probably just lose the game

It's not a very consistent deck. They try to use cards like gang up to get more cards into their deck than you have. So that you run out of cards first and die from fatigue.
Well shit, got a golden nozdormu from the tavern brawl.:what:
Everyone remember to put Hungry Crab in your decks tomorrow.

Also the new Tavern Brawl is back up now, at least for NA
This tavern brawl is interesting to say the least.

I'm really enjoying it. It's similar to other cards games where you build a deck as you go like dominion.
For some reason, it also seems really easy. I haven't lost yet with all different classes.
mill rogue is lame anyway, mill druid is where its at
I still bust out the old mill druid deck from time to time.

Also got a golden Spider Tank from the other pack I opened, so my mech deck is gonna be a lot fancier!
This new tavern brawl is actually really good.
I hope they make it a permanent gamemode.

They are designed to outlast your opponent and have answers to everything you play. Also designed to accelerate the game to get you quicker to fatigue (which is what coldlight does - speeds the game up for both players thanks to the symmetrical draws. And you will get to fatigue before the mill player by design of the deck).
It works best against slower decks that can't dump their hands, and works decent against aggro if your draws aren't really bad. The biggest issue is midrange totally wrecks it. Dropping sticky minions that are actually threatening every turn is hard for the deck to deal with.

I have just encountered a weird glitch today. The opponent played an unearthed raptor on turn 3, but then after that, nothing happened for quite some time. So, I tried to concede, but the game won't let me.
Has anyone else encountered this glitch? Because this needs to be patched ASAP.
This is a common issue. Unearthed Raptor is causing peoples clients to hang due to a connection error. Closing out the game (via clicking on the red X) and then restarting the game should resolve it and reconnect you.

That new token druid list with the Eggs is pretty cool. Make the eggs shit out babies, turn the babies into trees, make the trees angry. Circle of life.

I don't think I've ever been this confused in Hearthstone.

Started climbing the ranked ladder once again yesterday, and had a glorious finish to one game.
Context: Turn prior to those pictured below, my opponent played Spellbender, which happened to give me Eye for an Eye. My opponent also had 8 health remaining, and a Molten Giant on the board.
I bet you can guess what happened next. :excited:

I managed to put 20 defias ring leaders in to my deck (1 picked, 18 from 6 gang ups, 1 from a vanish), get the fuck out of our town.
I managed to put at least 24 coins in my deck thanks to some double Cho plays. It didn't work out too well.
Anyone know when the next wing is out? I need sir finley for my control hunter deck.

My favorite was having 5 demolishes on the board. It was like artillery every turn.
Nevermind it's out
Oh man I just had a brawl where I got literally perfect cards to discover every turn. I got the lightbane, darkbane, a shade of naxxaramas, a raid leader to make the tons of chickens I had more effective, and a shattered sun cleric to protect the shade so it doesn't die too early. As a final fuck-off I got a questing adventurer. My opponent conceded when I still had basically full health, I felt genuinely sorry for the guy :v:
the new wing is super fun
Picking Lorewalker Cho for this brawl wasn't the best idea.

It appears that Justicar replaces your new hero power, not your starting one as her card text suggests, when you play Sir Fin.
edit: I'm thinking of trying out a Reno Control Priest with Sir Fin, Entomb, and some other stuff.

I did that one game and bon because of the ammount of coins in our hand none of us could pick a new card so my 5/5 tiger that was on the board won me the game after like 6 10 minutwe rounds because of having to go through 4 cho animations per coin we played.
Wow, got the new murloc in the new brawl and he's fucking great
I needed 1 damage for killing a chicken, so I swapped my totems for mage's hero power
I really needed reach or health, so I went for warrior, priest, or hunter.
Fuck yes, gave me lethal.
This tavern brawl is also the best one yet, I really, really wish it was it's own game mode
