Do you think there'd ever be cards that makes you opponent discard cards? or have blizzard already said they'll never let you interact with a players deck/hand?
imagine a warlock legendary with text: your demons' battlecries affect your opponent instead
who knows
This is not worth 4 mana. It is maybe worth 0 mana. [editline]123[/editline] Actually it might be slightly too strong as a 0/4 for 0, maybe as a 0/3 or 0/2

[editline]123[/editline] Actually it might be slightly too strong as a 0/4 for 0, maybe as a 0/3 or 0/2
the other player will always be one card behind while it's alive (since it doesn't come into effect the turn it's played), and if they kill it on their turn the card discrepancy is permanent. 3 mana 0/3 would probably make more sense given its fairly small niche, but I don't think it would be useless, especially considering Warlock discard/Sacrificial Pact synergy.

Still, the other player is not one card behind. He is 0 cards behind, and 4 mana ahead on tempo, because you played this card instead of a card that does something.
Statistics
IIRC, for 5-attack, isn't there Arcanite Reaper, Ashbringer and Gladiator's Longbow?
IIRC, for 5-attack, isn't there Arcanite Reaper, Ashbringer and Gladiator's Longbow?
Ashbringer is a non-collectible
Help I finally saved up enough to craft Dr Boom and play a match with him and I didn't win Did I craft him wrong Should I have saved up for golden instead [editline]13th December 2015[/editline] Never mind I played my second game with him and I won, I crafted him right after all
I just nearly threw a Warrior mirror game that involved the golden monkey, Reno Jackson, and 11 points of Fatigue damage. I'm actually shaking.
Anyone who's played against an old rat deck in Magic: The Gathering, or indeed any mill deck in MTG, will tell you exactly how fucking boring and frustrating dealing with discards is.
Anyone who's played against an old rat deck in Magic: The Gathering, or indeed any mill deck in MTG, will tell you exactly how fucking boring and frustrating dealing with discards is.
8 rack. 8 RACK
Illidan used to force your opponent to discard cards, obviously this effect was insanely strong, but instead of just nerfing it they made a completely new effect. They did that because its not fun to be forced to discard cards.
It's an interesting mechanic but I think it was definitely kind of broken in that instance, considering you could super cheese it and play Illidan in an empty hand and have no downsides. That is honestly one of the strongest things I can imagine any player ever doing.
Playing Magic gives me a higher tolerance to cancer in Hearthstone. Every time I see a broken combo I think "Well, how much MORE cancerous would this be with counterspells, splinter twin, bob, goyf and brainstorm?"
I made some card ideas [t]http://i.imgur.com/iDgd0VG.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/ubgIGIt.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/jVrC6bp.png[/t]
Change Reforge to "Discover a weapon, equip it, and set its durability to 1" and I think it'd be playable?
Change Reforge to "Discover a weapon, equip it, and set its durability to 1" and I think it'd be playable?
wouldn't that just be called forge
It's an interesting mechanic but I think it was definitely kind of broken in that instance, considering you could super cheese it and play Illidan in an empty hand and have no downsides.
imagine playing against a freeze mage and forcing them to discard alex or antonidas.
Stop, I can only handle so much dirty talk.
milling requires a lot of setting up, and building an entire deck around it. against decks like aggro, zoo or midrange, you sometimes never even burn anything unless you're a rogue with vanish (i'm talking from mill druid perspective here, which is what i play most) a single card that discards stuff right away would be too powerful
Finally got the Golden Monkey in Priest vs Priest, literally the last card in my deck. Bastard thoughtsteals it. He gets Cenarius + Millhouse + Ol' Murkeye. I get Rend Blackhand, Vol'jin and Edwin VanCleef. Might've been the longest game I've ever played, both players managed to double Entomb his Ysera. Atleast I think it was his. I don't even know anymore. PRIESTS
priests are literally the aids class of the game, i dont even get how they thought priests whould be the class with most steal cards rather than rogue.
I'm fine with most netdecks in ladder but these fucking control priests are really starting to grind my gears. Endless removal and constant healing? Not really my thing.
control priest, you say? [t]http://puu.sh/lVwhS/b9fc06e3e4.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/lVwlS/e542b17fcf.jpg[/t] and last but not least, the classic turn 4 mindgames tirion [t]http://puu.sh/lVwnS/2635fe72f8.jpg[/t]
control priest, you say?
That list actually seems more fun than the one I am constantly facing. I see priests with 2x holy nova, 2x lightbomb, 2x sw: death, 2x entomb and justicar I'm having a hard time trying to play midrange druid
That list actually seems more fun than the one I am constantly facing.
priests are literally the aids class of the game, i dont even get how they thought priests whould be the class with most steal cards rather than rogue.
Might be the curse of Rogue. Priests took stealing (or "converting" in their case I guess), Paladins took Secrets (ambushes certainly would have fit them), and most Combo cards don't see play. On the other hand, Shaman looks like the class designed with dangerous burst in mind (Overload), but Miracle is firmly Rogue's territory, even if there are a few Malygos Shamans out there.
I feel amazing right now. I reno jackson'd out of a Mage Alextraza + Pyroblast.

Holy shit I just had the most intense game of Shaman vs. Warrior ever. This guy was topdecking like a boss with seemingly endless burst and godlike Totem RNG. Got me down to 1 HP twice (thx Alex) but I was able to outlast him. Funny how it only took one card to turn Shaman from worst class to pure cancer.
Which card?
Alexstrasza Basically you can heal for a max of 14 hp or damage for a max of 15, can target you or your opponent.
