Surely they could make a lot of cards [I]slightly[/I] less terrible and that would still be the case? I'm not well-versed in how card games are typically played.
I just got my 400 gold for 100 wins, what's the best pack to spend it on? Or adventure to save up for?

TGT was an arena expansion tbh The entire set is basically a bunch of above average arena cards and inspire is actually not too bad in arena. It certainly made arena more interesting for me to play and draft.
i just want more inspire cards. such a nice mechanic especially for the slow decks i usually play. i don't even care if they only fit a really specific niche (an inspire hobgoblin?)

In constructed you want everything to synergize, in arena you want everything to be good on its own. For example, you wouldn't be happy picking Ice Block, Ice Barrier, Frost Nova, Doomsayer, etc. but freeze mage is a good deck. In TGT a lot of the cards just have good value (Pit Fighter, Argent Horserider, etc.) but sticking a bunch of good value cards in your deck doesn't make it good.
I just want blizzard to release vanilla only arena game mode, I miss that.

Adding 100 shitty cards to arena that you will only pick if you have a choice between 3 shitty cards will change what you play against a lot less than adding 100 very strong arena cards.
