guys i think i actually fought rngjesus
so, here's the picture, i'm playing a warrior and I portal out antonidas, fucking solid. he's down to a core hound and no cards.
i play antonidas and frost nova, he's fucking done.
nay sir, he top decks a brawl. ok, this is hearthstone, that's fine. His core hound wins the brawl. ok
I polymorph it and move on, putting down my own core hound, and eventually establish a board of three minions against his none
he plays a yeti and brawls
his yeti wins the brawl
okay hearthstone
i eventually kill the yeti through wit and guile, i have maexanna and a chugger and i've played a mirror entity. he can't play any creatures as he's worried about mirror.
he unstable portals a wisp which he uses to trigger the mirror entity
words fail to capture my hatred of this man
Am I the only one here who voted for the Left card? I just assume the Right is something demon-related and it's like "eh okay".
Oh. Good.
Straight upgrades.
Thankfully not as bad as Dr. Boom (since the only thing Spider Tank's got goin' for it is the Mech synergy and lack of Blood Knight counter), but still...
I don't think you understand that legendaries are supposed to be better cards than normal if they aren't playing some kind of wacky support "change the rules" role because you can only have 1 of them in a deck and frankly they are much rarer/more expensive to craft
It isn't like Dr. Boom is god-tier OP or anything. I never really bought the arguments that he was. He's straight better than War Golem sure and very very good. But why is that relevant? War Golem was always a shitty card no one played anyways outside arena. Having a card be better in order to entice people to actually play it isn't a bad thing.
So, we might know when TGT releases
August 24th
I've had about $24 of free google play credit for almost 2 years now and I just realized I can buy hearthstone packs with it :ok:
$50 pre order for 50 card packs and a cardback?
Umm.
$50 pre order for 50 card packs and a cardback?
Umm.
40 packs are valued at around 50 dollars. It's a slight discount for people who want to buy a large quantity of packs.
I don't think you understand that legendaries are supposed to be better cards than normal
There's no need to understand that because it's not true
Rarity indicates how unique or complicated a card is, not how strong it is

24th of August is a pretty terrible release date considering how close it is to the end of the summer holiday.

no you're right, there's no reason that the entire community of the game knows him as dr balance and kripp considers him the most overpowered card in the entire game
absolutely no reason at all that the hearthpwn comments section is just a series of people saying "perfectly balanced"
My mind is telling me no
But my body..

My boody is telling me ye-he-hees...
[editline].[/editline]
Okay so the enemy had Sprint and he cast like 6 or 7 free unstable portals Milhouse definitely was not worth it
Seem's that today's brawl is heavily in favor of whoever gets the coin first. :v:
My first brawl the guy played 2 millhouses. Are you sure this is random?
[editline]29th July 2015[/editline]
I think as a gentleman you are obligated to play your millhouse in this one.

That's because Dr. Boom is balanced. There's nothing wrong about adding a Legendary version of the War Golem and adding on two Mech minions right as he's summoned which can trade up even with a Big Game Hunter and either deal up to 8 face damage or kill two more minions with not even a total of 8 damage, and making the other player (who is either new, or hasn't sunk enough dosh/time into the game) wrongly question why the card is so overpowered and probably never want to play the game again. Wanna know why?
You can run two War Golems and it's less vulnerable to Mind Control Tech and Rend Blackhand (former which barely anyone plays, latter which no one plays). It's completely fair.
Seem's that today's brawl is heavily in favor of whoever gets the coin first. :v:
I disagree, it favors whoever get's the better portals.
I was against a Priest with coin, but I still won because I had cards like Big Game Hunter, Imp Gang Member, Sea Giant, and other good cards.
Having a card be better in order to entice people to actually play it isn't a bad thing.
There isn't an "l" in "pay."

I agree for normal rarity but that clearly isn't the case with legendaries considering how powerful a huge chunk of them are and the fact that you can only have one of each legend in your deck??
[editline]29th July 2015[/editline]
I just don't see why it's a big deal that a legendary card is better than similar cards for that mana bracket. We celebrate when such cards are released as non-legendary when it's actually much more of a "power creep" to have that as you can have multiples in your deck.
Am I the only one here who voted for the Left card? I just assume the Right is something demon-related and it's like "eh okay".
The character on the right looks like a Satyr, who in Warcraft Lore were a group of Night Elves that were corrupted by Demons and turned savage. Considering that context I'm a bit more interested in seeing what it does over the other one.

How the hell could you forgot Dr. Boom's most popular counter that War Golem completely and utterly brutally manages to bypass?

Legendaries are powerful because they have one of a kind unique effects and fill a niche nothing else does (Sylvanas, Thaurissan, Malygos, Ragnaros) and some of them are crap or simply don't work for the same reason (Illidan, Cho, Majordomo).
They mostly (except Dr. Boom) aren't better versions of existing cards.
Also, no one celebrates when stronger cards are released as non-legendary. That's just plain wrong.
[editline]qwe[/editline]
I agree that it's ok to make better versions of bad cards. A legendary 5/1 with a reasonable effect wouldn't be power creep because no one uses magma rager.
Dr. Boom is just too strong even considering that, and the two legendaries released today might be too.

AH, THE THRILL OF THE HUNT!
You are The Chosen One from The Prophecy!
The one to use Hemet and kill a threatening beast!
So, which (card that is highly likely to be a) spell did you guys vote for? Priest's or Warlock's and why it's the Warlock one?
So guys, I decided to create a card. What do you think of the idea?

I know it's a straight upgrade from Chillwind Yeti, but it's a Legendary and you can only run one copy of it! It even makes Nerub'ar Weblord more useful as a counter
Power creep is inevitable.
Power creep is inevitable.
Only because Blizzard doesn't want to buff old cards. Or nerf any cards for that matter.
Never knew Sense Demons without demons in your deck could be so good.
Tavern Brawl, enemy Mage had Antonidas and some other minions on board. I used Sylvanas and Shadowflame to steal Antonidas and Sense Demons to get a Fireball. Next round leaves me at 7 health and I know the enemy has at least 1 Fireball but I topdeck Sacrificial pact and sacrifice the Worthless Imp to save my life and win the game.

not vulnerable to mctech
10/10 would run in every deck
I made some cards for a Zerg boss NPC (dunno if the boss should be a brood queen or a zerg colony or what), so these are not balanced for PvP encounters.

Ah shit hold up, let me nerf the card.

There we go, cards don't get destroyed immediately and it's more vulnerable to MC Tech!
